Chapter eight

Liam POV

     I was reluctant to let her go when it was finally time for her but I just couldn't push my limit "so, are you both together now" Eric asked after we came back to accompany her to her car

"I don't know" I replied honestly

"she was practically laughing here with you" he points out

"she did say she was going to give me chance"

"that's wonderful, it's mean she accept you"

"I hope so, where is Ariana, shouldn't you be with her"

"she is sleeping, so I left her before my wolf do something we will both regret" he replied

"I am jealous of the both of you, at least she understood what mate is" I admit

"I am certain Hannah will come around, she is already feeling comfortable around you" it states what was already obvious.

"so Ariana huh" I tease which made him blushed

"I didn't know I will find my mate so soon after seeing how long it took for you to see yours"

"good thing comes to us when we aren't looking"

"that's true" he laughed

"is she coming back here anytime soon," he asked referring to Hannah

"I am going to be taking her on a date"

"do you know where she stays"

dammit "nope, I did not even have her number" I am always stupid around her, my brain can't even function properly around her

"she isn't like us, you can reach her in your head"

"Gabe should have her number" my brain finally function

"you are right, do you need me to drive you to his house" he questioned

"no need, you should be there for your mate when she wakes up" I can't be selfish when I know he needs his mate as much as I need mine. I got up, dust myself before deciding to take a walk to Gabe's place, I needed the fresh air.

     Gabe was outside when I got to his place "alpha, what are you doing here" he acknowledged my presence

"I came to ask you something, hope you aren't busy"

"I can't be busy for my alpha," he said with a big laugh

"it's not something serious, I want to collect Hannah number and know where she is staying too"

"she is going to kill me if I give them to you, she is already mad I hid all of this from her in the first place"

"calm down, she isn't going to kill you, after all, she promised to give us a chance"

"a chance?" he asked like it was a big deal

"yes, I need her number so I can know when she will be chanced for us to go out on our date" I answered him proudly

"date," he said shocked again

"what going on with you, don't you want her with me"

"of course, she is our Luna, I am surprised she is agreeing to all this without causing a scene"

"she just couldn't resist my charms," I said referring to my face and body features

"she is full of surprises, she hasn't picked my call since I dropped her and she is already getting warm and cozy with you"

I growl "that is the Luna you are talking about, you talk about her with respect" I don't care if they are friends but she is mine now

"yes Alpha" he replied backing out and then reaching into his pocket to bring out his phone he went through it "here is it," he said and pass me his phone

my wolf and I got jealous at what he used in saving her number, if not that her number is damn important to us, we will be smashing his phone and his head right now, he dare put love emoji in front of her name "change how you save her number, she is mine only, mine alone to love" I yelled as I throw him his phone after copying her number

"I will right away" he nervously picked his phone and did as he was told "do you still need her address"

"I do" I can't wait to visit her and take her on our little date "what's does she cherish the most," I asked as I wanted to provide her a surprise

"I don't know honestly" he replied "she doesn't allow anything to get to her so it was hard to know her favorite" he explained

"no wonder she has a bossy attitude, she builds a wall around herself" I stated

"exactly, she is scared they will be used against her and she will need to turn to her father for help"

"I see, don't worry I will figure it out," I said with so much confidence

"have texted you her address," he said shaking his phone, I check my phone and see that I have a new message

"Alright, thanks then, I will be on my way, I can see you are on your way out too"

"I can drive you since you didn't drive here" he prompts

"don't worry yourself" I have other thoughts on my head

"Okay then," he said and I said my farewell

    After he drove away, I started walking towards the address he sent to me, it not far from him, my wolf was excited at the thought of seeing his mate again "pull yourself together wolf" I cautioned him as I mock him

"shut up and walk fast before I take control of you" he threatened

I increased my pace, if I let him take over, he will be marking her today with or without her consent and we will be losing our chance with her forever "and we will never get the chance for her to accept us" he reminded him and he snorts in my head

when I got outside her place, I first stay in the bush nearby and watch her, she is in the kitchen with her window open, the smell of the delicious delicacy she was preparing fill the air and I was tempted to go knock on her door "damn, what are we going to do" I said more to myself

"huh, is someone asking to advise from me" my wolf mock me back

"so immature" I replied

"anyway, we are the alpha, we know everywhere" he reminded me and I finally got what he meant

I move away from where I was hiding, take a deep breath before walking to her door, I knock once, twice, thrice, and she finally opens the door "Liam" she looks startled "what are you doing here"

"I don't mean to startle you" I first apologized "I came to visit" I then answered her question

"We saw a few hours ago," she said, what she doesn't know is that those hours felt like years to me, I can't wait for her to move to the packhouse "how did you even know where I am staying," she asked

"This is my territory" I stated proudly "I should know everyone on it"

"right" she rolled her eyes

"won't you invite me in" I smirked

"oh, yea, come in, I was just preparing dinner," she said leaving the way for me to enter

finally, the aroma that had lured me inside "dinner, lucky me" I was jumping in my head

I followed her to the kitchen and saw that she was preparing spaghetti with tomatoes sauce filled with meatballs "something smell delicious here"

she laughed at my compliment "luckily for you, it's ready" she replied

I grabbed myself a chair by her counter and sat myself down, she came with two plates "juice or water" she inquired

"water is okay," I replied as she walk away

"did you get it" Eric broke through the barrier I set in the mind link

"I did not only get it, but I am also having dinner in her house right now"

"lucky bastard" he snug and I shut him away again

"you are talking to someone in your head," Hannah asked, I didn't even know when she got beside me

"you figure it out, don't you" I watch her as she dishes out our food

"you seem occupied and I know you are talking to someone," she said before grabbing herself a chair beside me

"you see, you are blending in greatly" I grab a fork, roll some spaghetti up, and put it in my mouth "hmm" I moan to the taste of the food

"How is it," she asked as if she was doubting her food

"it's sensational, I got a mate who can cook, what a plus," I said taking another bite

"you flattered me, Liam, I am glad you are enjoying it" she started eating her meal too

I watched her eat because she does it naturally, other girls will have formed their eating habits because I was there but she doesn't care "why aren't you eating your food again" she asked

"I just love watching you" I replied and just then her phone rang

she stood up and went to where she dropped it, her mood changed when she saw the caller "I have to take this" she informed me and I nod even though I was worried about her.
