"I never knew you had any other friend aside from Lucas," I said, smiling wide at him. He rolled his eyes and grabbed his laptop. "Lucas is more like my brother and those Vampires outside are some of my trustworthy fighters. You were afraid of wolves the other time, so I had to bring Vampires to protect you. And about the boutique, they were only planning on surprising you, but they never knew you would get frightened easily..... Well! I already punished them for that." Orlan explains as he continues to type something on his laptop. Orlan's black shirt seemed the same as mine, and staring at him from the side made him look more handsome."Why are you staring at me?" The question, without shifting his gaze towards me. "You are just perfect," I replied, before staring away, because I don't want my mind to start wandering around bad places. "Perfect as in how?" Orlan asked and this time around he was staring at me. "You are handsomely perfect." I wink, before turning on the TV. Orl
I know that thinking this way is going to make me look like a bad person to others.... but I just can't help it. Orlan is finally going to travel for his business trip, and unfortunately for me, Saturday and Sunday run by so quickly. "Are you sure you are going to be alright?" Orlan question, because tears were holding in my eyes. "I'm going to be fine, so you don't have to worry," I uttered, despite being aware that what I had just said is a lie. "They are going to take care of you okay, and I have put my phone number on his phone so call me whenever you feel lonely and you feel scared okay!" Orlan added and I nodded my head. He's talking about his Vampires warriors and according to Orlan, he said that they are going to take good care of me. All that I could now do is by counting on his word. On the other hand, Orlan also bought a brand new phone. A laptop and also a video game that can be played by girls. He did all that on Saturday because all that Orlan could think of is a
Orlan POV"I feel so bad," I mumble, which was after talking to all my pack members. I broke the news to them that I have found my Luna, and even though all my pack members don't come from the same origin.... They were all happy.Joy and celebration filled the entire air, and they all congratulated me. Finally! My pack now has their Luna. Who said a pack can't be complete without his Alpha, then that person is a big lier. I haven't been available for my pack members for twenty-twenty-three years now and pack members are still in unity. My pack is different from another pack. I have wolves, Vampires, and of course witches all in one pack. They all live in peace and unity because they know that living in war is going to make them get mad, and if they get mad bad things tend to happen. I don't hide my personality from my pack members because they are my people and they are also my responsibility. I take good care of them and never let any harm befall them.... but unfortunately f
Speaking of boring.... the mansion was damn boring without Orlan. Yes! His warriors try to feel in space and they also try to joke around with me, but when a place is boring, it takes a long time for you to adapt to new things around you. A whole good week has passed and Orlan hasn't come back yet. Something I do reason if he's alright. If he reached his destination fine, and if he also thinks of me as much as I do think of him.I haven't called Orlan yet since he left me, and Orlan hasn't called me.I didn't want to disturb him while he was on his business trip, so I tried enduring it on my own. I have lost some pounds of weight because I no longer eat being happy. I don't know why I'm behaving this way, and I don't think I want to know because I'm afraid of my answer. Making my way aside from the house, I was stunned to see all the vampire warriors discussing merrily. Gush! I need to do something about my happiness. "Blade! What are you guys discussing on this hot afternoon?"
Orlan POV"Alpha! We have been attacking!" One of my pack members said as he rushed into the house that I and Lucas were both discussing. I didn't see that coming. I didn't expect that we would get attacked all of a sudden. Here in the Dark moon park, no one has a rank except the Alpha. I made it like that because I started giving them ranks that aren't theirs even before they were born.... it would lead to envy, and envy isn't a good thing. I quickly rippled from where I was seated, and my fang quickly elongated, as it was now being seen out of my mouth. ( Fang is the name of a supernatural creature's teeth )Lucas also rises from where he's being seated, and we both run outside.Lucas is a vampire so his nails are already elongated, and likewise his Fang's. The wolf that had just come in to give the information quickly less the way.My eyes were filled with anger because for thousands of years.... no pack has been able to summon up the full courage to attack my pack.Well! The
Slowly opening the door of Orlan's room, I was surrounded by darkness. I tried finding the room switch despite the darkness, and unfortunately, I stepped on something sharp. It cut my skin, which made me wince in pain. I didn't see that coming, and I also didn't expect something sharp to be lying down on the floor of Orlan's room. I cried out, placing my hands beneath my foot, and I could feel blood on my hands. I summoned up the courage to find the room switch because I'm really curious to see what the hell just injured me.Finally! I found the room switch, and I didn't hesitate to turn on the light. Immediately I switch on the light, I blink my eyes sometimes, another to adjust my eyes to the brightness. Opening my eyes fully, I hang my eyes wide open because of what's ahead of me. It was...It was a coffin, a plain black coffin. The coffin has five big candle lights surrounding it. The wall of Orlan's room is painted black, and the windows and curtains are all closed. I
Placing my foot on the floor, I wince in pain because the thing which had pierced my leg while I was inside Orlan's room, suddenly entered deeply into my foot. "Ouch!" I wince in pain while raising my feet from the floor.Orlan runs towards my side, and he grabs my feet. "Scarlett! You are bleeding!" Orlan exclaimed as he stated the obvious."I'm aware that I'm bleeding dumbass!" I replied, pushing his hands away from my foot. "Have you died....""Stop faking to care about me Orlan. Besides you had said you were in the middle of something before you sensed that something bad happened to me right?.... Do kindly go back to whatever you are doing, and let me be." I barked. Now I'm mad. He had said I behave like someone who doesn't have a brain.... so right now I don't mind behaving brainless. "Scarlett!" He called out my name, and I raised my head to his gaze. "What? Do you have many other insults in-store for me?" I have a question.Orlan became speechless, so I used the opportuni
"Do you sleep inside that coffin?" I asked, without making eye contact with Orlan. The atmosphere became cold and quiet. Orlan also diverted his gaze from me because he couldn't bring himself to answer my question. "The answer is Yes right?" I threw back another question to him. Orlan places his hands on my hair, as he runs his finger through my hair. "I was going to stop!" He mumbled with a very low voice. "What do you plan to stop?" I asked because I don't know if he's referring to what he's currently doing to my hair, or if he's referring to the coffin. "I was going to stop sleeping inside the coffin!" He mumbled once more, as his eyes became red. "But the coffin feels like home to me!" He added, before staring at the window. I believe he doesn't want me to see his red eyes, but it's already too late. "Why would you take a coffin-like home?" I asked, this time around I placed my hands on his cheeks so that he could now stare at me.Orlan stares at me, and he bites his lower
