Chapter 5 Are you a man?

Chapter 

Scarlet

I was sleeping so soundly and do not feel like waking up, my legs were spread apart, I never knew that sleep could be this good until I laid on this comfy huge bed, I don't know why the sun was coming into the room this late at night, I sleepily dragged the cotton close as I faced the other side and continued to enjoy my sleep.

A heavy knock began to sound on my door and I groaned using the pillow to cover my ear wondering who it was this middle of the night, the knock continue again and again and I could barely sleep, 

“Arrrrh, can't you keep quiet, it's late in the night stop disturbing me!” I yelled to whoever it is on the door and turned to the other side of the bed and began to sleep again

The sound came again but this time it was a loud bang, I angrily throw the sheet away as I sprang up from the bed and began to match to the door, I angrily flung the door open ready to jump on whoever it is but all I saw was the Alpha and his two other brothers standing before my door with Beta Sakesh by the side. I quietly shifted back in fear

“Scarlet, do you know what time it is?” Beta Sakesh asked and my eyes quickly darted to clock on the wall 11:30 Am, 

“Am I seeing wrong?” I asked Beta Sakesh as I rubbed my eyes and checked the clock again, and shit it was the same

“I'm sure this clock is damaged trust me” I laughed nervously as I ran to my window and dragged the cotton open but the ray of sunlight was so strong and wanted to blind my eyes so I dragged it close

“Scarlet it's over for you, quietly pack your bags” I said to myself as I dragged my lazy feet to where the Alpha and his brothers are still standing, and without saying any words, I fall to my knees in regret, 

“Brother can't you see this crazy guy is not worthy to serve us, for all I know he's some mentally disabled dude, can't you see he's not okay in the head, since he came here he's been completely doing the opposite of everything, I don't even know why you're still letting him stay here, brother he needs to leave, he's the most useless servant ever,” Alpha Prince Zeph yelled in anger. I already know he hates me since the day I mistakenly badged into his room unawares, 

He wanted to talk more but his phone began to ring and he looked at his brother the Alpha

“I have a meeting in the company, by the time I come back even if you don't sack him I will sack him myself” He said to the Alpha in anger and left

“See you later brother I have somewhere to be too” Alpha Prince Zed smiled at his brother. I was surprised when he pulled closer to me and whispered in my ear

“Beg him to keep you, we still have a lot to talk about” He winked at me and left.

The Alpha Brothers sure has weird personalities, I looked up and saw the Alpha glaring at me and I quickly looked away immediately. 

“Follow me” Was the only words he said to me, I looked at Beta Sakesh and he gestured to me to stand up and follow the Alpha immediately, I nodded and hurriedly stood up as I began to trail behind the Alpha calmly, 

Fuck, what have you gotten yourself into Scarlet?

Is the Alpha about to send me packing?

I don't want to go back to sleeping on the streets and under the bridges, only the thoughts of it alone got me gasping in fear, I promise to take my work serious from now on, all I asked for is a second chance, 

The Alpha stood before a huge door and it opened as the Alpha placed his finger on the the door, the Alpha walked in and I got in too, but as soon as I saw the beauty and massive room, I could barely move my feet, now I know that this people are not living in riches they are sitting on riches, this is crazy, the walls shining like a diamond, the floor that can see through my soul, everything in here screams of power, and wealth, how in the world am I wasting such a lifetime opportunity?

As soon as the Alpha turned to face me I fell on my knees in tears

“Please Alpha I'm sorry please don't send me away I don't want to go back to go back to sleeping on the streets and under the bridges, please Alpha I beg of you please” I cried in tears with my two hands clasped together, 

The torturous memories of my encounter under the bridge began to flash into my mind, 

“Ahhhh….ahhhhh, please don't hurt me please don't, please…..!” I began to scream as I to fight unknown forces hitting myself 

“Get off me, get off me, get off me!” I cried, 

“Hey, Scarlet, Scarlet, Scarlet!” I heard the loud calling of my name and slowly opened my eyes and saw the Alpha squatted down to my level, he was holding my shoulder as he looked at me with a worried expression, no one has ever looked at me like that except for my parents, 

“Are you okay?” He asked calmly and I bursted out in tears 

“Come here” He surprised me and pulled me into his arms, his wine scent engulfed my nose, and I was unawares of how I leaned into his arms sniffing his neck

“Will you take your work seriously from now on?” His question jolted me back to reality, I tried to pull away immediately but he held me back

“Answer me first” 

“Ehhh, Alpha is….not right for two men to be like this”

“Really?” He asked and finally pulled away

“Hmm” I nodded

“Are you a man?” He asked shocking me, 

“Huh?”

“Answer me first, are you a man?”
