Chapter 6 The coffee

“Of course, I'm a man, what were you thinking?” I nervously shifted backward and stood up immediately with my heart beating so fast, what is he thinking? Have he noticed? I watched as the Alpha stood up but I did my best to avoid looking him in the eyes

“That's good, cause I would want you to take your work serious from now on” He muttered and walked back to his bed, he say comfortably as he picked up his laptop and began working on it, 

“What are you still waiting for? Go and get my coffee, you only have five minute”

“Yes Alpha” I bowed immediately like my pants were on fire, I took the elevator and made my way straight to the kitchen and met lady Olivia

“Lady Olivia” I greeted with a bow

“Scarlet” She called with a smile on her face as she walked towards me

“You didn't come this morning to get Alpha brothers  breakfast?”

“Ohh about that?” I muttered scratching my neck

“I'm sorry, something happened”

“Ohh I understand, so why are you here, do you need my help?”

“Uhhhh, the Alpha asked me to get his coffee” 

“Ohh the coffee room is that way” She pointed at another room inside the massive kitchen. I was lost for words, so a coffee has a separate room, rich people and their boring lifestyle 

“Thank you” I smiled at her and bowl

“You don't have to bowl to me all the time handsome, I'm not a royalty” 

“Handsome?” I gasp and she nodded

“You don't know you're handsome?” 

“Uhhh…..”

“Now, you know, hurry dear the Alpha doesn't like his coffee late, and don't make it sweet else he won't take it” 

“Ohh thank you” I said to her and hurried into the coffee room but as soon as I get there I almost staggered on my step with all the machines that I saw and I don't even know what to do with them,

Really I thought it was something I have to mix with water, why are there so many machines here?  I left immediately to get lady Olivia's help, I got to the kitchen and met her giving Instructions to the maids so I had to wait for her to finish 

“Lady Olivia?” I called getting her attention

“Oh dear are you done?”

“No, I…..I…..I don't know how to use the machine please can you teach me?’’

“Of course why not let's go” She said to me as we both left and walked back to the coffee room

“So dear this is how it's done, we will only be needing one shot of Espresso and then  brew it from this machine just like what I'm doing right now? Then go over to getting some ice cubes from this refrigerator and pouring some cubes in your cup, then pour then Expresso into the cup then add water into the cup and stir, we won't be needing sweetener since the Alpha do not like it, and boom ice Americano is ready? Hope it's easy”

“Yes my lady, thank you so much” I bowled and took the coffee from her, I was already leaving when I heard her calling me

“Scarlet?” 

“Yes my lady” I said and slowly turned

“You don't have to bowl to me every time we talk, I'm just a head maid and not a royalty” 

“Ohh okay my lady”

“Hmmm” She smiled at me, while I made my way out of the kitchen with the maids throwing death glares and glances at me. I left the kitchen and made my way to the elevator, I pressed on the last floor and waited for the elevator to open but as soon as it did and I wanted to come out I was surprised to see Alpha Prince Zed standing before me, I bowed my head and came out immediately ready to leave

“You didn't get me my morning coffee” He said making me hault on my step as I turned

“Uhhhh, I'm sorry I won't fail it tomorrow” 

“Tonight by 8 be in my room I will need your help with something” He said with a smirk his eyes not leaving mine, 

I wanted to scream but hell….I remember I'm a man and there's no need to be scared if he sees me as a man

“Hmmm” I nodded and left, I stood before the Alpha's door no knowing how to get in cause he always gets in with his finger print, I did the only thing I knocked on the glassy door, and I thinked it worked cause the door opened immediately but then the Alpha stood before me, 

“You don't know on this kind of door, you press the button outside and when you hear the beeping sound the door will open and you come in” He explained and walked into the room while I followed obediently

“What took you so long?” He asked, at this point my arms were already hurting and I wish he take the coffee already so I can drop the tray on the table

“Uhhh, I didn't know how to use the machine so Lady Olivia taught me” I said with my head facing the ground, he ignored me and took the the coffee cup, I exhaled in relief and quickly dropped the tray on the table, 

“What took you so long?” He asked again surprising me, I thought I just explained it to him

“Alpha, I didn't know how to use the coffee machine so Lady Olivia spent some time teaching it to me”

He brought the coffee mug or should I say cup close to his mouth as he took a sip and nodded his head

“You were chatting with my brother at the elevator. Are you going to his room tonight?”

“Huh?!” I gasped in surprise

“How did he know that?” I asked myself 

“You forgot I'm the Alpha King and have the best hearing ability” 

“Huh? That's the first time I'm hearing that” 

“What do I tell him? Do I lie or tell him the truth?”

“Don't you dare lie to me” He groan

“Shit, can he read minds too?”

“Are you going there tonight? Answer me”
