Chapter Thirty Seven

Jasper went back to the hospital to stay with Bella. He wanted to be there for her to recover on time so he would stop blaming himself for her accident. He wants her to get back on her feet again and be lively like she used to be. He stayed with her in the room, he told her jokes and read her books. When the doctors came to check on her, they gave her an injection and she fell asleep. Bella's parents went back to their businesses when they saw she's okay.

His phone rang by afternoon when Bella was asleep. He saw the caller ID as Jessa. He knows why she must be calling. Thinking about it, he doesn't want to work with Jessa. But then he needs this to see Raina. It seems Jessa wants him to be closer to Raina, and get the chance to see how she's doing.

"Hey Jasper. I was wondering if I could see you, maybe over lunch or something?" Jessa said.
