Chapter Thirty Eight

Jasper left the ward to check on the therapist. He wanted to get some help for himself as he can't even forget Raina. It seems like he would lose his mind after all. He never expected to see Raina at the doctor's office. His heart leapt for joy, he wanted her badly.

He kissed her, her body froze when he did that. But she didn't push him away, she just stood there in shock trying to digest what happened. His hands snaked down her waist, he pulled her closer to himself. She gasped giving him full access to her mouth, she still didn't push him away.

The door opened and the doctor came in, he stared at the both of them in shock. He recognizes the other person as Raina but not the man. Raina has PTSD and hates men, how come she is making out with another man in his office. They both disengaged when they heard him come in.

"Oh wow, now he has embarrassed me." Raina palmed her face.

Jasper turned to the doctor who almost got an heart attack.

    "Here are the documents, I am done signing them." Raina said after a while. Jasper was left standing till she finished. Jasper did not want to sit down for he felt unwelcomed. He took the documents from her without looking at her again. Raina saw the expression he has, it showed he was really hurt. When she wanted to apologise, she stopped herself. What about the victim he killed? That person must feel very hurt too, the person must have begged for her life but he didn't care. He killed the person in sold blood so he doesn't deserve to be treated well. That's how she consoled herself and stopped herself from apologizing to him. "Excuse me." He said and walked out. Just like that, without taking a second look at Raina. She watched him leave the office, then she sighed in frustration. She loves him, her heart kept threatening to give her away while he stood there. She only said those words so she would feel at ease. She wants to believe what she feels is a joke and it will go away soon

    Raina sniffled, seeing the blood that still flowed from Jasper's body. She tried to get her phone from him, but he's still strong in his state. "Give the phone to me! Do you want to die?
