Chapter Thirty-One II

"V-Vincent..."

Instead of answering Vincent pulled the chair across to Sophia and silently sit on it then he once again fixes his coat. 

Sophia gets back to her senses and sits on her chair again. A while ago, she already lose hope that Vincent will go to meet her and said to herself that if Vincent won't reply to her text, at least he is aware that she waited and still willing to wait for him. 

"I-I thought you won't come anymore," she said breaking the silence that she predicted to surround them if she wouldn't dare to be the first to speak. 

Vincent takes a deep breath then he fixes his wristwatch. "I attended a meeting a while ago and got preoccupied that I have forgotten that I was supposed to meet you three hours ago." 

"It's okay. I understand. By the way, do you want something to eat? You can order, my treat," she offered.
