Chapter Fourteen

Vincent stirred his coffee as he was standing on the balcony. The trees and flowers become livelier with sunlight slanted on their stems and petals. He approached the rails and rested his elbow on them as he sipped on his coffee. He checked his wristwatch to see the time. It was only six o'clock in the morning but Vincent reckon that he woke up late. Waking up early means waking up around four AM for Vincent and now that he wakes up around six o'clock he felt that he's wasting time standing on the balcony and admiring his surroundings. 

"Sir, here's your breakfast," a woman in her black mini shirt and white long sleeves folded up to her elbow said. 

He turned his gaze to the table where she put his breakfast. He walked towards the table and sit on the chair. 

"Did you check Celestine in her room?" Vincent asked as he fastidiously placed his coffee on top of the table. 

"Yes, Sir.

"What did you know?" he asked, his voice is calm despite the curiosity that was starting to grow inside of his mind. "I know what happened to Sophia. You killed her." Rage reflected in Vincent's eyes. It was relentless. Vladimir had seen it before. He's familiar with the sinister that was hiding behind Vincent's eyes. Vladimir calmly emerges a bubble gum out of his pocket and chews it.
