"It's about time you broke this non-dating pact you went into, Shar.” Sharon’s mother said as she glared at her, "I know that boy broke your heart but don't let him destroy love for you"

"Mom, you know I can't right now, I have a lot of things to do, love is the last thing on my mind right now" she protested, gesturing towards the piles of paperwork scattered around her.

Her mother raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "You know what I mean. Since you and that good for nothing, you called a fiancé broke up three months ago, you’ve just buried yourself in this dark house. For fuck’s sake, when will you go for a proper night out to loosen up. And maybe, even find a nice man to make you forget everything for one night.”

“Ma…” she sighed. This is not the fourth time this week, and it’s not even Wednesday yet. “I’m not going anywhere till this is done and I’m definitely not finding any man, nice or not.“

She said, letting out a sigh.

“If you’re going to grow old alone, at least eat something so you don’t start suffering in the next three years when you're 40.”

“I’m still 29, Ma,” she shouted at her retreating back.

“Don’t you realize how fast you’ll age when you don’t have a man to assist you, especially on this farm?“ She shouted back.

With another deep sigh, Sharon closed the laptop and reached for one of the sandwiches. And she didn’t realize how hungry she had been till she was pinching the crumbs from the tray.

She pushed the tray away and checked the time. It was four o’clock, which meant it was time for Sharon to head over to Sally’s

She packed some fresh milk up, and some wool they’d sheared off the sheep the other day. Her ma was an expert at making bread from the wheat; she was always excited to feed more people her bread, so she packed some up too.

Piling them into the car, she drove to her office. She greeted her receptionist at the entrance and went into the office.

“Hey, Shar,” she looked up from the screen she'd been frowning at.

“How’s it going? Are you handling the farm well?”

“Uhh…that’s part of why I’m here, Sally,” she said with a laugh.

“So, I understand that you’ve been letting papa take some fertilizers without payment?”

“Ah, yeah,” she nodded. “We agreed he would pay back after he landed the investors back in May.”

“Uhh… I came to… request that we pay off the debt in production,”  her voice rising to a question.

After an awkward silence, she sat for a few seconds. She finally gave the reply Sharon had been silently hoping would somehow change.

“You know I can’t take this, Sharon. I kind of understand how difficult it is for you right now but on the other hand, I have a business to run. This will not work at all.” Then she said, “Here is what I can do for you, Shar. I'll let you pay in small installments, though. Go and put yourself together, whatever you have, you bring it.”

Well, she did try her best. After making some  changes to the agreement, She got back to her truck and with the produce still in the back seat, she drove back to the farm.

As she was driving, she couldn't help but grind her teeth in dismay, how was she going to save the farm? Sharon thought to herself as she drove home, her mind filled with so many thoughts.

*********

The Velvet was a notorious nightclub, known for its elite clientele and decadent atmosphere. It was owned by Darcy, Ray's best friend, along with Jace. It had started as a rebellious act and had been kind of surprising as they’d watched him go from a rebellious son with a dive bar to the owner of an upscale and luxury lounge catering only to the rich.

As Ray slipped into one of the booths, he spotted Darcy making his way over, while waving at him, Ray had a glass of scotch in hand but he couldn’t find Jace anywhere though. Which made him wonder where he was

When he got closer, he asked, “Where’s Jace?”

“He has a case that’s taking longer than expected. But he should be here soon.” Darcy replied

“How’s the business been going?” Raymond asked, taking a sip of his drink

“Eh, same old, same old. Had a big shot politician come in yesterday and that’s about the only fun this place has had in a while.” Darcy replied as he also poured himself a glass of scotch

A few minutes later, Jace finally arrived, his usual charismatic smile plastered across his face. “So, what have I missed?” he asked, sliding into the booth beside Ray.

"Nothing, you told me to come early but you came Late anyway" Raymond added, his annoyance evident in his tone

“Oh c’mon Ray,” he slapped his biceps and squeezed, “you don't care if i wasn't here, as if you weren’t already looking for a lady friend tonight.”

Ray sighed; maybe it's high time I got new friends. “You guys know me too well. How’s your girlfriend doing, Jace?”

When it comes to relationships, Jace and Ray are polar opposites. While Ray would rather jump over a bridge than enter a relationship, Jace prefers to be in one which he is currently in and is very happy.

He thrives in a committed relationship and looks forward to the whole wife, two kids, dog, and picket fence. Last month, he got himself a new girlfriend called Emily, she is an event planner. And she’s taking up a lot of his time.

“She’s off in Venice, planning a wedding ceremony.” Jace said with a huge grin on his face, “and she says hi by the way.”

After they had caught up on each other’s businesses, Darcy disappeared for a while, when Ray was already getting bored he spotted a lady that caught his interest. Maybe he would have his fun tonight after all? Raymond thought to himself

She must have felt his eyes on her, because she looked up, meeting his gaze under the dim lighting of the club. He watched as she caressed the rim of her cup with a smile on her face

“I’ll be back, Jace,” Ray quickly said. As he strode down, he heard him mumble, “As if.”

Downstairs, Ray slid into the seat opposite the lady. “How’s your night going, darling?”

“Better now that you're here. I’m Sadie.”

“Ray. Can I get you another drink?”

“Nah, but I would like to dance” She said as she leaned over her drink, causing her cleavage to be exposed to his gaze. And he couldn't resist the urge to lean forward and look in.

“Okay then, ladies first.” Ray said as they slid off their seats and took up positions on the dance floor, she was pressed against him as they moved against each other to the tone of the song play in the background

After a few minutes of dancing, Ray was hard as a rock and Sadie was also equally as excited so Ray leaned in and asked “Wanna get out of here?” he breathed into her ear.

“My place or yours?”

“Mine,” he lead her to his car where he pressed her against the car and fucked her mouth with his tongue some more. Her hands roamed his pecs, trailing past his six packs and latching onto dick.

Tearing his mouth away, he gave a loud groan and shuddered as he tensed his muscles to exercise some self control “Fuck! I can’t wait anymore, Sammie. Let’s get out here.”

“It’s Sadie and I agree.”

They got in and he proceeded to stay on this side of the law while trying to get to his suite as quickly as possible. Fuck, he was so horny. He removed one hand from the steering and pressed hard on his erection, trying to calm the fuck down.

“Let me help you with that,” She reached forward.

“No,” he caught her hand and stayed it on his lap, “If you’d like to get fucked, I suggest you keep your hands to yourself.”

“Fine, I’d touch myself then”

Oh, gosh!

She slid down in her seat and took back her hand from his lap, pressing it against her pantie covered pussy, while bringing the other one up to pinch her nipple through her shirt.

Slowly she rubbed down onto her pussy and moaned deep in her throat. And it took everyone self control to keep his eyes on the road.

When they eventually got into the suite, it was a mad rush, tearing pieces of clothes off their frames. When Ray's fingers finally slid into her pussy they both groaned together.

He stroked two fingers in and out, gradually increasing the pace as her moans grew in pitch. Faster, he fucked her against the door with his fingers till she moaned loudly and came with a rush on his fingers.

Pulling his fingers out, they returned back to kissing as they stumbled to the bedroom. And they  fucked like animals till they dropped from exhaustion.
