Chapter nine

“Did you hear anything? Were you eavesdropping on me?”, I asked a little scared and angry as I faced this jerk.

“No I didn’t. Did you say something that I should know about?”, he asked still maintaining his calm face, like nothing just happened in his room

“Ok sir”, I muttered with a sigh of relief and entered my room. Anywhere far from him would be appreciated

~Back in New York ~

“Your suggestion of presenting a relationship worked out well, it’s good you are being useful”,he uttered

“Oh ok sir. I’m glad it helped”, I muttered withought facing him.

“His obviously acting like nothing happened, I just didn’t know that one could be a jerk and also a pervert”, I murmured to myself knowing fully well that I was trapped with him

It’s either I do Mrs Stone’s bidding, or I repay him what he deserves, either way he’s at the losing end.

“Make sure to go over all the remaining documents and if there’s any issue, call my attention to it”, he added as he proceeded to step into his office, like nothing happened last night.

“And not a single word about what happened last night to anyone”, he said coldly coming back out to face me

“Ohh did something happen? I thought it was a terrible nightmare where a bad wolf came to haunt me”, i said mockingly and staring him in the eyes like I didn’t know what he was talking about

“You know.. I should really fire you”’he threatened.

“Please do sir, in my dream the bad wolf was in this company”, I said clearly insulting him in his face because I know he’s one that would never agree to be brought low by any lady

“So I’m the bad wolf?… You clearly were looking for one last night”, he said teasingly as our eyes met clearly stating that he had my time now

“You are such a je…”, I yelled out before realizing he’s still my boss and I was definitely going to pay him what he deserves.

“I’m a what? Come on, spill it out. Let’s hear what you have to say”, he muttered relaxing into Daniels chair

“You.. are .. nothing sir, I was just confused on what happened last night”, I said refusing to accept defeat

“I won’t force you to erase it if you don’t won’t to. I enjoyed it. At least one thing that’s good and useful about you is your lips. I’ll rather ask that you lend me your lips anytime I need it”, he said looking directly at me eyes to read any expressions on my face

“I, I , I don’t get? What do you take me for?”, I stuttered as I try to grasp what this jerk just said

“You can keep this between us and don’t expect anything from me”, he said as he stood up and walked into his office

“I don’t agree to whatever you just said and I don’t want anything from you”, I yelled out so he could hear before I finally gave up to sit down just to find Sophie standing at the elevator, I hope she didn’t hear anything? I really don’t want issue with anyone over that jerk

~back in Damon’s office~

Thanks to Naomi this deal was successful sealed. I knew there was something fishy about her, I just couldn’t place my hands on what it was. I thought at first that she was showing off her legs to Daniel but then the fact that my dad single handedly gave her the job without even interviewing her and she came in my room looking all seductive. Every man could possibly read the meaning to that look.

And no doubt she was looking very good with her nice and very attractive long legs and those seducing eyes. I won’t lie if this was really my dad’s doing, then he selected well.

She’s pretty and I tried so hard not to stare at her for too long. The only thing off about her is the fact that she has a deal with my dad or so I think

Touching was a pretty big deal for me, I never knew I had such courage to do that after a long while. I can’t remember the last time i came into close contact with any lady. My dad’s fear was true, I couldn’t really relate well with any lady since I lost my mom. The fear of losing them would hurt so much and I couldn’t bear such again.

I know nothing would happen between us but the fact that I couldn’t resist touching her means I’m overcoming that fear of losing people and I can maybe start relating well with other ladies.

I obviously won’t tell her how great of a help she has been to me these days. Let me see what else she has up her sleeves and flow along.

But I’m definitely going to continue having a taste of that lips.
