Julian's pov

I slowly opened my eyes, a sharp pain piercing through my head. A groan escaped my lips as I touched my head, trying to remember what happened.

"Boss! Thank goodness, he is awake!" Lucas exclaimed, his voice filled with relief.

I managed to utter his name, "Lucas.." my eyes locked on to his, and he gave me a pitiful look.

"Boss, how do you feel?" He asked.

I didn't answer. Memories came flooding back, and I remembered everything. Alex, Sophia, and the shocking revelation. My eyes darkened in anger as I grabbed Lucas by the collar.

"Where is Diamond?" I yelled, ignoring the sharp pain in my head.

Lucas's eyes widened in fear. "He took her away, boss," he stammered.

I pushed him to the floor and stood up, my chest tightening in pain. Tears burned my eyes as I thought of Diamond.

She may not be my biological child, but I had raised her as my own. It was Alex's plan all along to ruin me. He took Ava away from me, and now he took Diamond.
