Gwen's POV

Rickard lowered his hand and moved a few steps away from me. He was trying so hard to keep a smile on his face but it was to no avail.

Attorney Frederick moved a few feets closer to Rickard and I with a confused expression over his face.

“Rickard, Gwen, what is going on here?” He asked more firmly, raising a brow up.

“Uhm, it's nothing Dad, Gwen and I were just talking” Rickard instantly began to stutter.

“Gwen?” Attorney Frederick called, casting a suspicious look at me. It was obvious that he was buying Rickard's words.

“Yes sir, it is nothing to worry about” I said, forcing a smile across my face.

“Are you sure?”

I smiled lightly and nodded.

“Excuse me, I have to go now. Think about what I said Gwen” Rickard said, winking at me before making his way out of the kitchen.
