Ten years ago, I received a message that my mother had been taken captive by some thugs of a political party. I still recall how disoriented I felt right from the moment the message was received on our end.

To this day, I don’t know how I moved or who moved with me. All I know is I mowed every obstacle out of my way until my mother was in my arms.

But then… When she ended up in my arms, she was already gone.

As I drove like a madman to the address Eduardo sent to me, I felt the same rush I felt that day. My heart ached and my brain worried. My palms sweated so much that they were almost slipping off the steering wheel.
