Chapter 5 Mr. Forrest

James nodded with satisfaction, and then announced to everyone in the secretarial department, "This is Chen Xiaoyu, she will be interning in your secretarial department starting today."

On the first day of the mysterious new president's appointment, he stuffed a seemingly unreliable little girl into the secretary department. Old Zhao nodded in understanding, "Okay, okay!"

"Serena!"

Serena took a step forward.

"Mr. Forrest, Serena is the best employee in our secretarial department. She has a good personality too. It's most appropriate for her to take care of Miss Chen."

Old Zhao patted Serena's shoulder encouragingly , and Serena could only force a smile, "Hello, Mr. Forrest, and Ms. Chen."

Mr. Forrest took a reluctant look at her, and then cast a distrustful gaze on her badge . " Serena, you are only at the P6 level. Do you have enough experience?"

"Don't worry, she has been in charge of Chenyue's major projects for the past two years, and there has never been a mistake. President Wen often praised her in the past, and he originally wanted to take her with him during this transfer."

Xiao He glared at him in dissatisfaction and said, "Sister Serena, you are in trouble. This is called accompanying the prince to study. If he studies well, it's hers. If he doesn't, it's your fault."

This was the first time Serena saw James at work in the past three years. His look instantly reminded her of a word: the doting of a domineering boss .

This doting disappeared when he glanced at her. Chen Xiaoyu took off the headphones and said carefully, "Brother James...Mr. Forrest wants to talk to you."

As she spoke, she raised her phone and pointed the screen towards her.

Serena then said respectfully to the screen, "Mr. Forrest, you go ahead."

Mr. Forrest narrowed his eagle eyes and advised , " Xiaoyu just returned to China and is not very clear about everything here. Miss Xie, please be patient and don't bully her."

Serena's eyelashes fluttered, and she was even more respectful. "Don't worry, Mr. Forrest."

There was silence on the other end of the phone for a second, and then the call was hung up.

"Why did you hang up without saying anything to me? That's too much!" Chen Xiaoyu muttered, " Sister Serena, don't you think so?"

Serena laid out the information and said calmly, "This is the information you need to read. If possible, it's best to read it before leaving get off work. If it's strenuous, you can just read the catalog once."
