Chapter 4 Dirty

James spoke only when the car drove onto the road.

"What's up with the date?"

"It's a blind date arranged by your second sister."

"Don't go there anymore."

Serena found it funny, so she laughed and said, "Why shouldn't I go? Your parents told me to look forward."

The neon lights on the street smudged on James's face, making it look bizarre and cold. "I won't let you."

"What right do you have to refuse? It's been three years. Aren't you tired of it?"

“Not greasy.”

As he said this, he turned his head, his eyes full of mockery.

"You can't leave until I've had enough fun."

He could get engaged and live alone, but she had to stay where she was, waiting for his punishment at any time.

James has never been a reasonable person. He was like this when he still liked her. His method of pursuing her was simple and rough. Even his confession sounded like a threat. Serena couldn't help but feel moved while complaining.

At that time, I never thought that love would turn into hate one day.

"What about Miss Chen?"

James seemed to have just remembered, he said unnaturally, "Why mention her, you two are different."

James laughed when he heard this . "You think you can be a mistress?"

Serena finally felt the heat in her eyes, and she didn't want to show weakness, so she quickly turned her face away.

"If you insist on going on like this, then never get married."

James raised an eyebrow when he heard this, "Sister-in-law means... that she will play with me forever?"

Serena was speechless for a while, then she sniffed and said, "No matter what, I won't share a man with other women."

"Dirty?"

James grabbed her chin as he spoke. He turned her face over without mercy , with a cruel smile on his lips. Serena's anger and tears broke out almost at the same time.

She said word by word, "Yes, it's dirty!"

James slowly stopped smiling, but his hands became more and more powerful. Serena felt like her jaw was about to be crushed, but this was a matter of principle, she could not give in, and could only stare at the man.

Tears slid down his cheeks and flowed over James' fingers, hot and lingering, extinguishing the last bit of his sanity.

"Pull over!"

The car braked suddenly and stopped next to the park. It was a small park far away from the city. There was almost no one on the road at night. James stopped.

He looked at her bloody lips and leaned in to kiss her.

The kiss was very gentle , wiping away the gushing blood bit by bit , as if he was afraid of hurting her, just like James long, long ago.

She couldn't help but open her eyes, stroked James's frowning brows, and then saw his slightly confused eyes.

It has been a long time since I saw him like this. For a moment, Serena felt like time had gone back to five years ago. She couldn't help but slow down her tone, "James, please let me go, and let yourself go too."

James was stunned for a moment, and he gritted his teeth, "You wish!"

Serena didn't remember how she got home.

When she woke up, it was already daylight, and James certainly wasn't sleeping next to her, as he had been coming and going in a hurry for most of the past three years.

Her body felt fresh after being cleaned. When she walked out of the door, Sister Sun immediately came to help her. As expected, James did not send her back to her own rental house outside the Second Ring Road, but to this large flat that he had forced on her.

The location is very good, the layout is great, and it's very close to where she works. It's called Linjiang Mansion, and the name is quite grand, so the house price is expensive, the security is tight, and the privacy is very strong, which suits James' identity.

"Mr. Shen was in a bad mood yesterday. After sending you back, he smoked several cigarettes in the living room." Sister Sun grumbled , "I advised him to smoke less, Miss, you don't like it."

Sister Sun is Sun Heng’s relative, but obviously Sun Heng did not tell her about the relationship between her and James, so she always thought they were a sincere couple.

Serena paused while drinking her porridge. Will he listen to her? Don't be ridiculous.

With the commuting time shortened, Serena arrived at the company early. Xiao He followed her and wailed as soon as he saw her, "Sister Serena, I waited for your backup until 2:30 in the morning!"

They were lined up in two rows in front of the spacious and bright president's office to welcome guests.

Serena lowered her head slightly, thinking about the medical expenses for the next six months. The time had come again, and most of the money William had given her had been spent on several critical illnesses. It really wasn't enough to just save money, so she had to find a way to increase her income.

Soon, the sound of a group of people's footsteps was heard. The sound of leather shoes stepping on the marble tiles came from far away. Before Serena could identify it, the familiar smell of fir invaded her nose.

Lao Zhao gave a warm welcome, "Mr. Forrest, all the staff of the secretariat welcome you!"

After saying that, he led the applause, and Serena followed mechanically, having to look at James.

James didn't respond to Lao Zhao , and didn't pay any attention to her. He turned his head and looked at the other side, "Xiaoyu, what do you think?"

Serena then realized there was a young girl standing next to him, her figure was mostly blocked by him, only her slender legs and long hair were exposed.

"That's great, Brother James. I'll listen to you." The girl replied sweetly.
