Once Francis' car was out of sight, Leonardo turned his head to glare at Vanessa. She hurriedly explained, "Leonardo, I'm not engaged to him. I admit that I used to like him, but that's all in the past. I don't like him anymore and I've informed my mom and grandma about it, so I don't even like him one bit."

The only feeling Vanessa had for Francis was hatred. She wanted to grow stronger to deal with both Khloe and Francis, and avenger her daughter and family. She can't come out now as it was very dangerous.
