Vanessa left the bathroom in a huff.

Leonardo glared at her back confused by her reaction. 'Beg? I don't beg. She will surely eat those words.'

Outside the door, Vanessa covered her mouth and laughed. "Trying to play tricks on me, huh, Leonardo? You're a century too young to try that. Let's see who loses at the end!"

When Leonardo came out of the bathroom, Vanessa was half laying on the bed while enjoying the fruit platter she was holding. She smiled at Leonardo when she saw him, " Leonardo, would you like some fruit? They are pretty good."

However, he ignored her and rolled his wheelchair over to the bed. After putting the fruit platter on the bedside table, Vanessa hopped off the bed and was about to help Leonardo onto the bed but she was rejected by him.
