Narek's POV

Seated in front of Nyx, I watched her struggle with the truth, unable to believe it as her reality. I couldn’t blame her though. When Ms Pendleton, Nyx’s aunt, opened up about Nyx’s true nature as a witch, I was quite doubtful myself and I had my reservations. But after what I saw yesterday, I knew there was something more to Nyx than she appeared.

It was safe to say I underestimated her powers, until I saw it unfold with my eyes.

If this discovery goes the way we imagine, then Nyx is going to need more than her powers to remain at Salvador Academy. If anyone else suspects she’s a hybrid, the authorities would flock the school like flies.
