My Worst Nightmare
I STOOD UP when I saw Caleb’s arm slightly moved. There was also a subtle movement in his eyes that made me feel excited. My heart palpitated as I immediately ran out and called for a nurse.
“I think my boyfriend is awake!” I elatedly announced.
The nurse nodded went out of the nurse station. “We’ll be there. I'll just call the doctor.”
I was still catching my breath but I went back to his room right away. But then when I returned… he was motionless – not even moving an inch.
“Caleb?” I called and walked closer to him. “Love?”
Tears started to flow from my eyes. Did I just thought he moved? Was it just my imagination? It’s been two days since he was admitted in this hospital. We’ve been praying for him to wake up soon. Am I already getting impatient that I started to imagine things?
