Lonely Heart

“THE OPERATION WENT WELL.”

I burst out crying after hearing what the doctor said. A chunk of negative feeling I had was lifted. I can somehow breath freely than earlier.

“What will happen now?” Pops asked.

There's a lot of things I wanna ask so bad but I was just too overwhelmed about the situation.

“We’ll be moving him to a different room and observe him. I need to give you a heads up though…” The doctor sighed and placed his hands on his pocket.

My eyes automatically shifted at him. That kind of sigh is not a good sign.

“W-Why? What’s wrong?”

“He’s been badly beaten. He had a few broken ribs, cracked skull and his face had a lot of bruises. Not to mention the puncture he received on his abdomen.”
