Chapter 44

With a chime, the elevator doors opened.

Corbyn quickly walked out of the cramped elevator and stomped to his hotel room angrily. Dean followed behind him at a normal pace. Maybe it was because he had longer legs, but he didn't fall behind too far compared to Corbyn, who was trudging quickly.

The two of them stepped into the room. Corbyn first took off the stuffy suit jacket, revealing the white shirt inside.

Because of his frenzied emotions, he was sweating. His shirt was plastered to his sweat-drenched back, making it seem like a work of art.

Dean stared at his lower back like a child staring at a shiny new toy—he had this uncontrollable urge to put his hand on it.

However, as soon as his hand touched Corbyn's body, the latter swatted his hand away angrily with a loud smack. Dean was astonished, looking like a child who didn't know what he did wrong.
