Then again, both David and Sylvia were professionals at controlling their emotions. Instead, they just smiled.

"Oh? Isn't that Dean and that meek boyfriend of his? What a coincidence!"

Corbyn replied coldly, "Yeah, it is a coincidence. Had we known that you'd be here, we wouldn't have come here in the first place."

In the past, Corbyn had pretended to be Dean's "meek boyfriend" just to preserve David and Sylvia's pride. Now, there was no need for him to do so.

Since he was no longer putting up a facade in front of Dean, why should he do the same in front of David and Sylvia?

When Sylvia heard Corbyn's tone, she felt rather amused. All she did was shake her head.

Meanwhile, David just chuckled. "You two sure have a lot of free time on your hands, huh? Dean, how's the job hunt going?"

How was the job hunt going? What an awfully nice way to kick Dean where it hurt the most!

After all, David was confident that Dean could never find a job on Gold's Street.
