I watched Nadine strut downstairs and take her seat back at my side at the dining table, a worrisome expression corroding her face.

"She refused to come here, said she wasn't hungry, just like she said for breakfast and lunch," She said, shooting a knowing glare at me.

I scoffed. Sara had locked herself up in the room, refusing to let anyone come inside since yesterday.

I wondered how she didn't get the fact that I was only looking out for her just like an older brother would.

Nadine was the only person she was communicating with but she had inherently declined her offer to come downstairs to eat.

If she was still adamant to see reason, so be it. She needed to understand why I was being protective of her.

"She will come around, she's just throwing tantrums," I said, fighting a wing with my fork.

Nadine rolled her eyes in disgust, "She isn't throwing a tantrum, Kai. She's really serious. You should hear her out. Have a conversation with her, she is your sister for crying out loud
