Eden City was bustling with life after finding its way back to normalcy. The recent happenings and unfortunate events had galled the thresholds of the City.

People were out, shops were opened and workplaces filled to the brink, one can say it was back to business as usual. In the course of soaking in everything, I noticed a lot but something stood out, Emily.

She was rarely outside. And whenever she got to shoots which were usually booked for throughout a week, now reduced to twice a week.

I hardly saw her shopping and going to events like she would normally do. Her media influences were down and most fashion news seemed to go off on her taking a recluse. I knew that wasn't it.

She kept ignoring me in filling stations and anywhere we crossed paths. Bags of skin swelled up under her face and it was so bad that makeup hardly covered it. She walked with no sense of purpose like I knew Emily to be, driven and energetic, bursting into a room, set to have people's eyes lick her up.
