chapter 4

The 4 days passed quickly much quicker then I would have liked. I wish I could stay with Valentina and Ella.

"Daddy why do you have to leave?" My daughter asked. It was still unreal that I had a daughter.

"Because I have work to do sweetheart" I was planing on comes back within a week. I couldn't be away from them longer then 7 days.

"Are you coming back?"

"Of course I am I couldn't leave my girls." It was true I could never leave them.

"I'm gonna miss you"

"I'm gonna miss you too, and mommy has my number so we can FaceTime every day. Ok?"

"Ok"

"Good now give me a hug" I said while opening my arms. She ran into them, her little arms barely reached my back.

I stood up and looked at Valentina. "I'm gonna miss you too"

"I'll miss you more" she whispered.

I went up to her and kissed her, it was a soft and short kiss I didn't need to get all excited before I left.

"I have to go but I will be back as soon as possible"

"Ok"

I wraps hands around her waist to pull her in for a hug. Her arms wrap around my neck hugging me back.

"Call me whenever you want."

"What if your busy?" She asks,

"I could never be too busy for you." That makes her smile into my chest.

"Ok, you can call me too you now"

"Oh I will darling" I said while smirking

I had a driver pick me up and take me away but it before I looked back and say my girls waving bye to me.

The plane was me working on my computer while the flight attendant tried to flirt with me but I said no and made I bluntly clear that I was not interested.

I walk in to one of my warehouses. I was beyond pissed, I was filled in on the plane ride. Someone stole 1 mil from me.

"Who the fuck took my money!" I yelled walking in.

Everyone looked at me saying nothing. No one came forward which was expected. I took out my gun from my waist band and fired 3 shots in the air.

"Line up in front of me now!" I say

Everyone lined up in front of me. They filled most of the space in the warehouse.

I paced in front of them crossing my arms and holding my gun in fort of me. The new comers look scared shit less but the people who have been doing this longer don't look phased.

I walk up to someone I think her name is Diana "was it you who took my money?"

She shook her head shaking slightly.

"Do you know who did?" I move my gun to under her chin.

"I t-t-think I-I-it was D-D-Dante." Dante was a guy on of my capos took off the street.

I walked over to him. "Now who do you think you are taking my money"

"I just needed the extra cash. I'm sorry"

"Well sorry doesn't count it." I shoot him in the head he falls down blood Geri g on the floor.

"Someone clean this up!" 3 people scatter to clean the body.

I walk to my office after everyone got back to work. I hand to make some deals and smooth over a few things.

I go to the Salvatore industry building, I'm the founder and owner. It's how anyone out side the mafia thinks I get all my money. I finalize a few contracts and am in nearing the test of the day.

I'm at my mansion, I have my maids cook me dinner but there cooking can never compare to my Valentinas cooking. The door burst open and In comes my best friend Cameron. We've been friends since grade school.

"DUDE, your finally home it was getting boring with out you."

"Gets used to it I'm going back as long and as many times as possible."

He covers half his mouth and whispers to me "dose that mean you found her?"

I whisper back "yes"

"Tell me more"

"Let's go up to my office with no nosey people."

He nods and we go up to the office. I sit behind the desk and he sits on the couch up against the all.

"So tell me why she isn't here right now?"

"She had my child, that's why she left. She refuses to have our daughter grow up in this environment and I totally agree so I'm going to go back as much a posable so I can see them."

Cameron looks shocked "wow" is all he says

"I know right, I try to be mad at her for keeping my child from me but she was just doing what she thoughts as right."

"How will you solution work in the long run?"

"I won't but I will make it work for as long as possible."

He nods after that we go to talk about lighter topics. We drink some bourbon and he tells me about his latest whores. He ends up going to his room, 5 of my best men live in this house with me Cameron being one of them.

I take a shower and climb into bed in only boxers. I look at my phone it's 1:00am her so like 7 for her, she should be up so I decided to call her. It rings a few times before I hear.

"Yes" he voice sounds groggy and like she just woke up.

"Hello darling, did I wake you?"

"Yes you did how dare you" she puts on a tone she would use to scold Ella

"Oh I'm sorry I just wanted to here your voice" I say in fake empathy.

"Ya you sound so sorry." She replies sarcastically.

"Don't you have to be up soon you now making breakfast taking care of Ella?" I say

"Oh hardy har har she's not even up yet."

"Ok then you have plenty of time to talk to me."

"No I don't"

"Oh I think you do darling"

"Oh I think I hear Ellas feet coming got to go bye"

She hangs up. But it fine because the whole conversation was light hearted and fun. I go to sleep after she hangs up.

I wake up to the sound of yelling. God why are all my capos so loud. They argue about the most random shit.

I walk down and Elijah and Jacob are yelling.

"Boss Elijah says that he gets the tv" Jacob whines to me, I swear they are all children at heart.

"There are like 5 TVs use a different one" I tell him

"But this is the best" Jacob says whole he points to the living room tv.

"Ok well that's not my problem" I say walking to the kitchen, they start bickering again.

I get the food thy was later put on the island in the middle of the kitchen. I eat my food and go to my office in the house to fill do work.

The day goes by so slow with out Valentina and Ella. I wish I was with them instead of in my office. My door opens and I think it's Cameron so I don't look up.

"Where have you been all these days?" Ask I female voice that is trying to sound seductive, I recognize the voice it belongs to lily a solder Elijah took in from the street.

"What do you want" I rub my temple just her voice gives me a headache.

"You look stressed let me relax you" I look up she is leaning over by desk showing me her boobs.

"I'm good why don't you get out" she's been trying to get me in bed for 3 years since she's been recruited.

"Come on I can make you feel good" she whispers trying to walk around my desk.

"I said no now get out before I shoot you" I say razing my voice and stand up.

"I'm sorry I'll go" she looks surprised I raised my voice I always just told her to go and after a while she would listen.

I sit back down and continue working when someone barges in again I'm about to rase my gun a shoot when I hear Cameron's panicked voice say.

"Boss we have a problem"

My mind races what could be wrong, is it Valentina and Ella, is it the mafia. Cameron must see my mind racing when he tells me my worst night mere.

"It's Valentina and Ella"

What happened to them, did someone get them, are they dead. I stand hands leaning on my desk.

"What happened?"

"We have reason to believe the Russians found out about them."

"Get the private jet ready I'm leaving to go get them"

"And bring them here?" Cameron asked shocked

"Yes"

"But I thought they didn't want that life."

"Looks like they don't have a choice anymore."

"She's gonna hate you" he tells me and he's right I know she will.

"I can live with that as long at she's safe"

"Ok what ever you say boss"

I hate having to force them into this life, it's the last thing I want for my girls but we don't always get what we want. If I don't get them they could die. I don't have a Choice, right?

Cameron tells me the jets ready I don't wait I rush over there and get on the plane. I'm coming to get you my queen.

It's been a little over a day without kade and I miss him so much. Ella has talked about what she wants to do with daddy when he gets back. She wants to put face paint on his face, go to the beach, and take him to her favorite spot.

I couldn't wait for him to come home. I had just put down Ella and was washing the dishes when a knock came from the door. I went to open it the it was kade, i knew something was wrong with the look on his face. He looked sad before anything ever happened.

"What happened?" I asked as he walked in.

He hugged me and whispered "I'm so sorry" over and over again, in my ear as he hugged me tighter.

I pushed him off me and asked "what are you talking about?"

"You have to pack your bags." He says slowly

"What!" I say

"People found you, you and Ella have to come back with me."

"No we can't, I already told you we wouldn't" I say as I wrap my arms around my self.

"You don't have a choice, if you don't come then you will die"

"This can't be happening" I whisper as I start to pace around the kitchen.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean for this to happen." He comes towards me and try to hug me but I push him away.

"You could have stayed away, YOU COULD HAVE LEFT US ALONE!" I yell

"Don't say that, you don't mean it"

"Yes I do what gonna happen to us once we are there?"

"I'm not sure but you will be safer"

"How do you know that!"

"Because I can protect you 24/7!"

Where both yelling now so loud that Ella wakes up and comes down stairs. She has her sleepy eyes and is rubbing them trying to wake up. She look at kade and her face lights up.

"Daddy!"

Kade turns and sees her says ding there. He goes up to her and scoops her up in his arms.

"Hey princess, how dose it sound if we go to New York?"

"Oh ya that would be so much fun" he just used her against me now we have to go and there's nothing I can do about it.

I storm past there happy little reunion like a child and go up start to pack yay (note the sarcasm) I can't believe I have to go back there. I hate the mafia no despises it.

I pack most of my cloths and necessities I don't worry about all the bags and amounts I know he has a private jet. Once I'm done with my room I pack Ellas stuff up.

I hate him for doing this to us he just had to come back and ruin my life now my baby's is going to grow up in the mafia. I've packed everything and now the bags are down stairs.

"I called a diver he'll be here in a little" I nod my head. I can't speak to him if I do something I don't mean to say will come out.

The driver comes and doesn't have a car seat for Ella so she sits on Kade's lap. I just look out the window not saying anything for the car ride and till we get to the plane.

Someone Louis our stuff and I get on and strap Ella and myself in. Kade sits now the to me while I look down at my phone.

Ella is still tired so she fell asleep as soon as she is buckled in. I hate planes so once we start moving I grip my arm rest. Kade notice and takes my hand so I squeezes his hand.

Once we are in the arm I let go and go back to my phone.

"Can we talk" kade asks, more like pleads

"No"

"I know how you feel-" I cut him off

"No you don't your all happy you get what you wanted us back in your world you have now idea how I feel so don't pretend you know how I feel you insensitive ass!" I whisper yell not wanting to wake up Ella.

"I'm sorry this is all to protect you." He looked a bit shameful, he should be.

The rest of the plane ride was quite, we had a smooth landing. Ella woke up halfway there and wanted to have food and color. She had a blast on the plane since I never took her on one.

The car was silent between me and kade but Ella was Geary talkative. She asked about the house, about what we would do, and how long we would be there.

I knew all the people who would be at the house it would be the same as the year I was there before. I walked in to the house and I was picked up by strong arms I recognize the arms as Cameron's, I hugged back I was really happy to see him he was my best friend before I left.

"I missed you" I said as he put me down.

"I missed you to sweet cheeks"

I turned around as I felt little arms wrap around my leg. I picked Ella up and put her on my hip.

"Ella this is uncle Cameron, Cameron this is Ella."

"Hi Ella I think I'm going to call you sweet cheeks 2.0" she smiled at that

"Can I call you cam-cam?"

"Anything for you sweet cheeks"

I pretended to be shocked "I thought I was sweet cheeks"

Cameron rolled his eyes "ya well she has sweeter cheeks then you"

"So rude, let's go see everyone else."

Cameron nodded and started walking towards the living room. I walked in after him kade trailing behind us.

"Hi" I shouted since they where all watching the tv.

There heads snapped towards me, then huge smiles amperes on there face at they walked over. And gave a big group hug to me and Ella. They break apart looking from me to Ella.

"Ella this is Elijah, Jacob, Lorenzo, and Carlo. Everyone this is my daughter Ella."

"Is she Kade's?" Carlo asks shocked

"Of course!" I tell them

Lorenzo walks up to us first " well aren't you the cutes thing." He says in a baby voice while he's pinching her cheeks lightly. Ella giggles at what he says. "I'm going to call you butterfly."

"I'm going to call you Leo" Ella says matter of factually.

After that everyone says 'hi' and gets associated. Elijah calls her pancake, Jacob calls her El, and Carlo calls her buttercup.

Ella hoped down and sat on the couch and flipped to Nickelodeon then turned to reds the guys and says "are y'all gonna watch" they all nod there head and circle a round Ella with 2 boys on the side and 2 boys on the floor by her dangling feet.

Kade starts to pulls me out of the room pull away and say to Ella "my and your dad and going to go talk ok baby."

She waves me off with a mumbled yes. Me and kade and walk up to his room it looks the same as the way it was 4 years.

I walked to the other side of the room while he's by the door.

"I'm sorry please forgive me"

"Why should I you promised that we wouldn't be dragged into this world!"

"I know but I couldn't do anything it's for your protection."

"Pleas your just happy you have an excuse to bring us back here!" I jump on the bed to get closer to him I hate him but not really.

"I'm happy your back yes but I wish I where under different circumstances, but please look at how happy Ella was with the guys she will be protected here, and I know you missed them as well and that your happy to see them" He walks closer to the bed.

"But at what cost, is Ella going to have to learn to shoot a gun, she's now going to have to be a mafia leader cold hearted and ruthless right." When we started dating he told me he could never love mafia bosses are spouses to be cold hearted and ruthless.

"Is that what you think of me?" He gets up on the bed and grabs my waist.

"Well no" I say looking down.

He lifts my chin up so I have to look at him.

"Good because I never want you to think of me that way." His voice softens and his face comes closer to mine.

"I don't" I whisper

"Good" his breath hitting my face.

"Are you going to kiss me?"

"Can I?" He eyes pleasing me to left him.

I wrapt arms around his neck as we stand on the bed. "Yes"
