Chapter 7: Reign Of James at the Academy

It was very late in the evening when Williams drove to the hospital, in Perth city. He and Jaden hopped down from the car, to pick up Susan, who was lying in the back seat.

"Jaden, help me with her right hand." Williams lifted Susan.

"Okay, dad!"

Jaden helped his dad with what he asked, as Williams used his both hands to carry Susan, and they both hurriedly walked into the hospital. The nurses at the reception area instantly attend to them, as they lead the way to the private ward.

When they got to the ward, Williams placed Susan on the bed and moved over to the other side of the bed, alongside Jaden. One of the nurses that came in with them, ran out to go call the doctor.

"You all need to step out please!"

A tall, slender male doctor who just walks in, said from the door, then everyone in the room turned to look at him. The doctor has a commanding aura as he spoke.

All the three female nurses inside the ward, immediately step out as they caught the sight of the doctor, except for Williams and Jaden, who were still feeling reluctant to leave.

"Can you both step out, please! I need to check her!" The doctor repeat when he got closer to the bed.

"I just want to know what's wrong with my wife!" Williams doesn't seem like leaving the room.

"This is my work, and you being here, would only obstruct it, sir..." The doctor said calmly.

"But doc---"

" Let's go, Dad! Let the doctor attend to mom." Jaden interrupt Williams and gently dragged him out of the room.

Williams and Jaden are both in the hallway of the ward, seeing two nurses going in, and coming out of Susan's room repeatedly.

Jaden sat quietly on the chair and kept on praying inwardly. Whilst Williams was impatient, as he continues to walk up, and down the hallway.

It was already past eleven in the night, before the doctor finally stepped out of the room where Susan is being kept. Williams was the first to run towards him, followed by Jaden.

"How's my wife doing doctor?" Williams sounds curious.

"She's out of danger now Mr. Williams! It wasn't the cut on her palm that made her faint, it was something else."

The doctor explained to them, with a smile. As Jaden and Williams heard that she's out of danger, they both let out a sigh of relief.

"I don't understand doctor, what made her faint?" Williams asked with a confused expression.

"Congratulations Mr. Williams, your wife is five weeks pregnant!" The doctor extends his right hand to Williams, for a handshake.

"Are you serious doc?" Williams asked in excitement as he quickly shakes the doctor's hand.

"Absolutely!" The doctor smiles. "What she needs now is to rest a lot, and avoid strenuous work."

"I will make sure I see to that, thanks a lot doctor." Williams was overwhelmed with happiness.

"She will be discharged tomorrow morning since she's still sleeping right now." The doctor said.

"Alright, thanks once again, doctor!"

After Williams thanked him, the doctor leaves his presence. Jaden was so happy with the great news, that he unexpectedly jumped on Williams as soon as the doctor left.

"I would be having a little sibling soon!" He sounds so excited.

"Yeah, I'm having another child! Williams holds Jaden tightly.

"Dad, I need to stay with you guys for a while, can I postpone my trip to Edinburgh for now?" Jaden suddenly asks.

"Hmm son, that would be left for your mom to decide. But don't you worry, I will make sure I talk to her on your behalf." Williams assured him.

"Thanks, Dad, let go see mom!"

"Alright son!"

************

"Sonia! Sonia!! Sonia!!!" Herbert calls out.

Sonia that was lost in her thoughts jumped up when she heard someone screamed her name. "Yes," she turns to look at Herbert.

"What are you thinking about?" Herbert furrowed his forehead as he asked.

"It's nothing Dad." She replied, but the look on her face is saying something else.

"Are you sure?" Herbert could sense that she's hiding something.

"Yes dad," Sonia answered without looking into his eyes.

"Okay, I need to go talk to Austin now. I will be back soon." Herbert told her as he stood up, and heads to Austin's room.

When Herbert got into the room, he saw Austin sitting down on the couch, by the bedside with some documents in his hands. He seems busy with work.

"Austin," Herbert calls out as he stepped inside.

Austin was busy with what he was going through on his laptop and never noticed when his dad walks in. He raised his head and frowned when he heard his dad's voice.

"We need to talk!" Herbert said, as he sits on the bed, and faced him.

"If it's about Sonia, then we have nothing to talk about dad!" Austin replied harshly.

"It's about the company, what's going on with our stocks? Why is it falling day by day?" Herbert sounds furious.

"Dad, everything is under control. I'm working on that!"

"Did you just say under control? What about this?" Herbert angrily threw his phone on the couch beside Austin.

Austin picked up the phone and was surprised to see their stocks fallen rate, some minutes ago. It has gotten worse compare to when he checked it before he left the office some hours ago.

"I think someone is out there, trying to destroy the company!" Austin put on a confused expression.

"Then find out who it is! You can't be the CEO, and do nothing about all the crises the company is encountering! I need a solution to it as soon as possible!" Herbert collected his phone from him and walked out with an unpleasant face.

"Who could it be? And why is the company the target? I need to get to the root of this matter!" Austin mumbled to himself, as he seems fed up with everything...

*The Academy*

Every person at Werewolves and Vampire Academy(WAVA), has the right to a strong sense of belonging.

This occurs when each person has the opportunity to express their magical being every full moon. It is also achieved when students are treated fairly and they, in turn, learn to appreciate others whilst showing them respect.

It also happens because each person knows that the Academy provides a safe environment, for them to create their own identity, within a community that values diversity and nurtures their powers.

The Academy has an exclusive enrollment policy, which seems very hard to get in. All Teachers have a strong belief in the need to develop moral, and social intelligence in an environment that respects all sacred and earthly beliefs...

James was in the corridor of the male restroom with his squad, waiting for someone. He has three boys of his age by his right side, and the other two on his left side. Their names are; Mathew, Richard, Harry, Paul, and Chiu the Chinese boy, whose parents base in Scotland.

James stood in their middle while putting his basketball Jersey on, and rolling the baseball in his hands. Ever since he came to the Academy, he has been acting superior to everyone. He made sure to select the most brutal werewolves and vampires, as his friends.

In less than a week that he resumed to the Academy, he has started bullying the weak ones that don't want to comply with his rules and regulations.

All the young girls in the Academy loves to hang out with him, and it has gotten to the extent of fighting each other because of James. They've all seen how powerful he is and heard how influential his family is in the city...

"It's getting too long James, let's barge into him!" Paul suddenly said, with a harsh tone.

"Calm down Paul, no matter how long he spent inside the bathroom, he will come out!" James smirk.

"James is right, calm down Paul," Chiu said.

They all seem to be waiting for a young boy, who confronted Richard two days back in the classroom, in the presence of their maths teacher.

After waiting for some minutes, the boy they are waiting for came out of the bathroom, trembling. He slowly walked out, with his head bowed to the ground. He knew he is done for as he saw James at the entrance of the bathroom.

"Hey freak, where do you think you are going to?" Richard draws him back with much anger.

"I d-don't want any p-problem, please let me g-go." The boy stuttered as he pleads with them.

"Oh, what a poor boy! You want to go right? Then leave now!" James said with a chuckle and pushed him hard to the floor.

The boy's head hits the floor and he started bleeding from his nose. He gently stands up, as he wipes the blood away.

"This is unfair, I never did anything to you guys. Why trouble me?" The boy started sobbing.

"Are you crying?" James said while putting on a fake, pitiful face. "Next time, you will learn to respect us!" James suddenly pushed him to the wall.

"Leave me alone, please! I never wanted to confront Richard, it was just the maths competition between our groups." The boy tries to explain what happened.

"But you still did!" Mathew cuts in.

"I'm sorry, I will never do such a thing again!" The boy begged them with puppy eyes.

"It's too late! Save your sorry for yourself!" James kicked his knees, angrily.

Before the boy could put himself together, James swiftly holds his neck against the wall, so tight. James' eyeballs turned red like blood, and his claws were out.

James was about to use his claws to scratch the boy's face when he suddenly heard someone yelled at him;

"Stop what you're about to do!!"
