Chapter 46: The Outcome
"What prophecy are you talking about?" Herbert asked with a glare.
"We heard something happened on the night of blood moon, and a boy came to report this morning that, a girl interpreted a prophecy. But to our surprise, James claimed he was the one and not the girl." One of the officers explained to them.
All eyes turned to look at James in awe. Herbert couldn't believe it either. He knows that not everyone has the gift of interpreting a prophecy. And right from his forefathers, no one had ever done such before.
"Is that true James?" Austin asked him calmly.
"Yes, dad!"
"But how did you do that?" Herbert sounds surprised.
"What the seer saw was plain enough for anyone to interpret it. So, it wasn't that hard for me."
"Still, you should have informed the authorities first before spreading amongst your colleagues. That was uncalled for!" Another officer chipped in with a stern look.
