Chapter 14: Secrecy

"How's the search for the Hybrid?" Great One asked as he twirls his right-hand fingers, while being seated, in the temple.

"No news about him yet, but we are still searching for him..." Peter replied.

"What I saw last night was terrible! His powers have started growing little by little, without him knowing. We need to act faster!"

"If you won't disregard what I'm about to say, I think we need to join hands with the Omega's pack, for a faster result about the search for the child," Peter suggested.

"Hmm, that's a good idea but, we can't do that!" Great One looked drain.

"Why?" Peter was surprised.

"I know how Herbert works. He would never agree to kill the child. He would want to use him to his advantage... So, it's impossible to inform them."

Great One only briefed Peter on what could happen, without going into much detail. He was friends with Herbert before, so he knows everything about him.
