She smiled despite the torture she was going through, slung the suit jacket over his shoulders, like the virtuous wife she was.

She could feel his piercing gaze on her, but she didn’t let it bother her. She wasn’t that frail, and she wasn’t going to feel sorry for herself no matter what she did.
