New Daddy

~Thirty Minutes Earlier~

Jason got out of bed that morning, very grumpy, as he went to answer the doorbell.

"Who is it?" Jason asked as he opened the door.

"Hello, Uncle Jason, good morning," Lisa said.

Jason looked down to see two pairs of eyes staring up at him in surprise.

"Morning, why are you here this early? Want something from me?" Jason asked, rubbing a hand on his eyes to clear them.

It was Sunday morning, and he had nowhere to go. Why were these two at his door, or did their mother send them? Jason thought.

"We gave you a note yesterday, remember?" Liam replied.

Then it dawned on Jason, and he muttered to himself, "Oh, God, damn, I totally forgot," as he remembered he was supposed to get up on time to prepare to take the twins out as per the note that was dropped at his door the day before:
