Diane’s POV

I stormed out of the hospital, my whole body burning with anger.

I couldn’t believe that pathetic girl, Aria, dared to kick me out of the office. Who did she think she was? She acted like she owned the entire hospital just because she stayed a little longer and gained a little bit of respect.

I clenched my fists as I walked through the hallway. Some of the nurses quickly looked away when they saw me coming. Others avoided me completely, pretending to be busy with something else.

I laughed inside my head.

Cowards.

They weren’t worth my time anyway.

They were just useless people, running around, trying to save a bunch of lowly peasants whose lives weren’t even worth saving. If it were up to me, I would only treat people who had real value. People who actually mattered. Not some poor pack wolves who probably couldn’t even afford real healthcare.

I held my chin up high and kept walking, ignoring everyone.

I wasn’t like them.

I was educated in the best universities abroad. I sp

Xeros’s POVThe sun was high above our heads as Carlo and I walked around the pack. The heat stuck to my skin, and the dust from the ground clung to my boots. We had been hearing a lot of news lately. Strange news. About a sickness spreading through the pack these past few days.It wasn’t normal.Werewolves didn’t get sick like this. Even if we caught something, our bodies healed fast. Faster than humans could even imagine. But now?Now even the strongest wolves were lying in bed, sweating and coughing, looking weak like they’d been poisoned.Carlo pulled his shirt over his nose as we passed by another house where someone was sick.“This is getting worse,” he said quietly to me.I nodded, feeling a knot in my chest. “Yeah. It’s spreading faster than anything I’ve seen before.”We checked every house. Listened to every family. Most of them were scared. Some of them were hiding it, pretending they were fine, but we could see the fear in their eyes.“We’ll find a solution,” I said to one

Aria’s POVI shouldn’t have spoken to them like that.As soon as I walked into the surgery room and closed the door behind me, my chest felt heavy with regret. I leaned against the wall, letting out a long, tired sigh.Xeros and Carlo had come to see me earlier. I could still see the look on Xeros’s face when I told him to leave me alone. I could still hear Carlo calling after me with that worried tone in his voice. They didn’t deserve that. I was just angry, hurt and frustrated. But not at them.It was Diane. She only came not too long ago and she already made sure that she almost made my life a living hell. And I was so mad that I let her words push me to act like she was the one meant to be with them. But she wasn’t.They were mine. The Moon Goddess chose them for me. Not her. And yet I let her get under my skin again.I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I would apologize when I got home. I would explain everything. No more misunderstandings. No more pushing them away.I would

Aria’s POVI didn’t know what to feel in that moment. Should I be scared or should I be relieved since he didn't hurt me the last time we were together?I'm supposed to trust someone like him who goes in and out of this pack like it belongs to him. I don't even know what he's planning in his mind or what is going on in his head. Let's not forget the fact that he almost tried to hurt Xeros. I mean, he would have done something if Lucas didn't. “You shouldn’t be here,” I said finally, standing up slowly. “I told you never to come back. We told you. All of us.”His eyes didn’t shift. He looked the same—maybe a little more tired, but still him. That quiet, unreadable calm.“I know,” he said softly. “But I had to see you.”My brows pulled together. “Do you have any idea what could happen if Alexander sees you? He might actually kill you this time. And honestly, I won’t stop him.”Edgar looked down for a second, then stepped closer.“I’m not here to fight anyone,” he said. “I’m here becau

Aria’s POVThe drive to Edgar’s pack was quiet.I sat in the front seat, staring out the window, arms crossed, and mind filled with thoughts. The road was mostly empty, and the silence between us grew heavier with every passing mile.I shouldn’t have come. That thought kept repeating in my head. Not because I didn’t want to help the sick—but because being around Edgar again made everything feel strange. Wrong. Complicated. But when we finally entered his pack land, I forgot all about my awkward feelings.Because what I saw shocked me.There were people everywhere—sick, coughing, lying on stretchers, some even placed in tents outside what looked like a crowded clinic. The air smelled like strong herbs and sweat. People moved around in a rush, doctors calling out instructions, nurses trying to calm crying children. It was like walking into a battlefield.“This is worse than I imagined,” I whispered under my breath.Edgar parked and got out quickly. Alexander’s POVThe moment we saw her, I could feel my heart settle for the first time all night. But it didn’t last. She looked too calm. Like nothing happened. Like she hadn’t just disappeared without telling anyone where she went. Like we hadn’t spent the whole night tearing through Edgar’s pack, worried she had been hurt or taken.“What were you thinking?” I snapped before I could stop myself.Xeros stepped forward too, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. “Do you have any idea how worried we were?”Carlo didn’t even say anything at first. He just looked at her, like he couldn’t decide whether to yell or hug her.Aria stood there, blinking fast, as if she was trying to process all three of us coming at her at once. “I… I was going to come back,” she said quietly.Xeros laughed, but it wasn’t funny. “Yeah? do you know I almost completely lost my mind after we couldn't find you anywhere?”“I didn’t mean to fall asleep,” she said quickly, stepping back a little. “I finished chec

Aria’s POV‘I’m in t-trouble,’ I could see the fear in the eyes of my twin sister as she ran into my room and crouched down beside me.I had to drop the puzzle I was deeply engrossed in, giving her my full attention. ‘What’s wrong?’ I asked. ‘He is coming. I’m so scared. I didn’t mean for it to happen’ she let out the statements in short breaths and I needed no soothsayer to tell me that she was referring to my uncle. I placed my hands on her shoulder, ‘don’t worry, you’ll be fine’ ‘I won’t’ I watched her lips tremble in fear as she let out those words. And almost immediately we were startled by a loud sound as the door to my room was flung open. My uncle stormed towards me and grabbed me roughly by my arm, my heart threatened to burst out of my chest as his fingers pressed against my skin, turning it reddish. He pulled me up harshly and dragged me towards the doorway. He then stopped and turned to my twin sister, ‘you! Wait here till we return. Take a step outside this room and y

Aria’s POV I was taken out of the small prison after what felt like eternity and led to the council room. Where I knew my case would be judged and then appropriate punishment issued. A punishment I knew I didn't deserve because I had just found my mate and I believed my reaction was normal. The council room included a small group of pack members including Lucas and my sister, who threw me a look of disgust and it hurt me deeply because she was the reason I suffered and was exiled for five years. Now, All I wanted was to get the protection from my mate but I was arrested because of that.I stood in the corner of the room while I waited for their verdict. “You have been brought here for laying your hands on the alpha’s son and making a false declaration.” The council judge read out. “It isn’t false. I felt the… connection” I said in a bid to defend myself and darted my eyes to Lucas for a few seconds. “You still have the audacity to speak” “Just keep shut and face your punishmen

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter three

Xeros POVI stopped in my tracks as I took a moment to survey the open space in the forest. I had lost track of Ryan, the traitor who belonged to the enemy’s pack. He had come into my pack pretending to be an ally but thank goodness for my experience and expertise, I was able to see beneath his covering. I had been hot on his trail for the past hour and just when I was about to catch up to him, he sped up and took a turn. It was at that moment I lost him. I had my guard up, holding my weapons closely while I surveyed the space. He had to be around here. There was nowhere else he could go, right in front of me was a cliff and it would be a stupid decision to jump down that cliff. He just had to be somewhere around. I heard a rustle behind me and prepared my weapon for an attack. I surveyed my surroundings once again but there was no one in sight. After a few minutes, I heard the rustling sound again. I backed the cliff and remained at high alert. “I know you are here! Show yourself

Aria’s POVInstead of standing up and leaving, Diane stayed in my office like it was her own personal living room. She didn’t even look at me, as if I wasn’t even there. She kept digging through my things. My files. My desk drawers. Even my personal notes for my patients. It felt like a cold hand gripped my heart. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. She had no right to touch anything in here.My voice shook a little when I spoke. “I just asked you a question! What do you think you’re doing in my office?”Diane finally stood up, but there was no fear or shame on her face. Only boredom. As if this was all a small inconvenience to her.“I think I already told you,” she said in a flat voice, “I wanted this office. You refused to give it to me. So now I’m doing whatever I can to get it from you.”Her words made me feel like I was drowning in anger. How could she speak like she had authority over me? This wasn’t her office. This wasn’t her place.Without thinking, I walked up to her and s

Aria’s POVThe hospital felt a little more crowded than usual today. I was in the middle of checking a patient’s heartbeat when I heard two nurses whispering close by.“Did you hear?” one of them said, barely hiding her excitement. “A new doctor just arrived! And guess what? She’s the famous cousin of the three Alphas!”I froze for a moment. I didn’t need to hear anything else. I already knew who they were talking about.Diane.Of course, she would find a way to make herself known. She wasn’t even here for a full day and she already made a name for herself.I closed my eyes for a second and promised myself something.Stay away from her. Just avoid her. Don’t let her cause trouble for you.I finished with my patient, smiled politely, and walked out of the room. I just wanted to go back to my office, catch my breath, and focus on my work. But right as I turned the corner, I heard someone calling my name.“Doctor Aria, can you come to the head doctor’s office?” a nurse said, waving at me

Aria's POV “Good morning to everyone! You're already having breakfast without me?” Diane said just to show me that she was more important than me. Alexander shook his head, “we didn't start having breakfast yet so just sit down.”I just watched them interact with each other and act so close. Someone was definitely a stranger in the room and that person was me. They had all these memories together, a history I couldn’t touch. No matter how much I tried to act normal, I could feel the invisible wall between us.I picked at my plate, not even hungry anymore. Every time Diane laughed, my stomach twisted a little more. Every time she leaned close to Alexander or Carlo or even Xeros, I felt my heart tighten painfully.I felt uncomfortable having breakfast with them and the fact that Diane still made sure that she came to sit with us. Maybe I felt envious and jealous about all the things she talked about earlier. Maybe it was also because she looked down on me too much. Just because she
