Chapter 70

Daniel's pov

"You look good, Dan." Lydia wiggled her brow as she got into my car.

"Thanks, You don't look so terrible."

I teased her.

She narrowed her eyes at me and hissed.

"We both know I look great."

She snapped and I couldn't help but laugh.

"So fiesty." I said and zoomed off towards Brad's party.

"Did Maya still respond to your text?"

I asked Lydia.

"Nope, pretty sure she's still working."

Maya had informed me that she wouldn't be able to come to the party but I had thought Lydia would have been able to get her out of the house.

We got to the party and even before we got out of the car, we could hear the sound of music playing.

We were only thirty minutes late but it seemed the party was already in full swing.

I opened my car door and rounded the car to the passenger's side to open the door for Lydia.
