Micah's pov

The drive to school was slow. It had rained in the early hours of the morning and as soon as it had stopped, every werewolf left their house at the same time to go to school or work causing and unimaginable traffic.

This was the longest traffic I had experienced in years and I was not a fan. At this rate, I was going to be late for school. Not that I cared but coach Harrison had warned me about my attendance and his plans of kicking me out of the team if I came late one more time this month. I couldn't afford to.

As I sat in my car, I couldn't help but think about last night and how awkward it had been for both of us.

My dad coming back home had not been something I had expected. Even worse was him catching us in bed together.

And what was all that talk about not hurting Maya?

He'd sounded suspicious like he knew her from somewhere. The look in his eyes had also surprised me. It was one of fear and my father was the Alpha of the pack. He was not one to be scared easily.
