Chapter 121

Maya's pov

Micah immediately stood up and pushed Juliet to the ground, sending her flying with his new found strength.

I took that opportunity to push Daniel away from me before he could mark me.

His eyes widened. He'd not been expecting me to have any strength at all and that was the plan.

Micah was already out the door, searching for the keys.

I ran away from the alter, straight towards where Micah currently was but my movements were slower than usual and I was still too weak from all the medications they'd stabbed me with. All I could think of at this point was to get to the doorway and run.

Micah was not in the dinning room but i felt his presence somewhere in the house, so I followed it.

“The gate is over here, follow my eyes.”

He said to me and I did.

I could see things in Micah's perspective.

“Stop you fucking bitch,” I heard Daniel yell from behind. He was already gaining momentum towards me.
