Ch. 89 TRASH

Emily’s POV

I was utterly exhausted, both physically and emotionally. The constant rollercoaster of being with Alpha James had worn me down, leaving me feeling used and discarded. No more, I was done being treated like trash, just because I had fallen hopelessly in love with him.

As I stumbled through the corridors, a concerned warrior approached. "Miss Emily, are you okay? You don’t look so good." he inquired.

I forced a smile, waving him off. "I'm fine. It's not like I'm your Luna or anything, just ignore me." The warrior's brow furrowed in confusion, but I brushed past him, making a beeline for my room.

The alcohol burned hot in my veins, my vision blurring as I staggered down the hall. All I wanted was to get out of this wretched place, away from James and his insufferable games. I couldn't bear the thought of spending another night in this cursed packhouse.

Reaching my door, I grasped the handle, only to have a hand shoot out, preventing me from closing it. James's voice rang out
