BLAIR’S POV

Apparently, Jennice meant every word of her dramatic pause.

She served us tea and I wasn’t sure whether we were hypnotized or she was just that captivating, but we were drinking on her every word.

It was only a few hours into the morning and breakfast was definitely appropriate.

“I do not understand all of this,” Sebastine said, “Why were you willing to throw your sister under the bus, if you loved her so much?”

“Yea, what if she got caught and prosecuted for all those crimes?” I chipped in.

Jennice laughed,

“Well, she handled it, did she?” Jennice responded.

I couldn’t even look at this woman. I immediately felt very bad for Jane.

All these years, I thought Jane was an evil and distasteful woman, I never would have though that she was just being a puppet in the hands of people that she did not know existed.
