CHAPTER 32

Clarisa remained in a coma. It had been three days since she had woken up. They had moved her to a large hospital in Manila, where her OB clinic was also located, so they could monitor both her condition and her pregnancy. Cyena, Patrick, and Loren, who were friends of hers and nurses at the hospital, were working there.

The three of them cried as they visited Clarisa's room. "Come on, wake up... our godchild needs you," Patrick said.

"Don’t worry, we’ll keep watch and take care of you. Just get better... we miss you," Cyena said, holding Clarisa’s hand, while Loren sobbed on the other side of the bed.

Clarisa’s friends took turns visiting her every day. After their shifts, they would stop by her room and spend time taking care of her.

Reed’s parents also visited the hospital, deeply concerned about Clarisa’s condition and the baby she was carrying.
