ELEANOR

I was late already!

Pushing my luggage into the reception of the hotel I had in mind, I stopped at the desk of the receptionist. “Good day. I'm here to take a room. A room for two. My boyfriend is on his way.” I shot her a smile and she did the same.

“Welcome to De Royal Suites, ma'am,” she sounded. “We're more than glad to have you. How do you want to go about it?” She asked and I stopped to think, wondering what to say and even the exact thing she meant.

Was there a special way to go about it in the first place? Now that I thought about it, I looked around to be certain I was not in any way in the wrong place.

“Well—” I let out after my thoughts.

“I have no idea what I want. But I know I just want a good room. In case you don't know, it's our anniversary and I need to make something special for the love of my life. I want the kind of suite new lovers lodge in whenever they meet. I'm sure you understand what I mean, or don't you?”

“Perfect,” she looked away and searched

ELEANOR I was relaxed on the bed when a hand touched me. Instead of slightly, the hand on my back hit me aggressively and I did not bulge—not for a moment. My thoughts centered around the fact that I was dreaming and it wasn't real—the more reason I relaxed my back on the bed and even, faced the other side. Again, this hand hit me. Left with no other choice, I sat up. Jumped up, rather. What was that? So, it wasn't a dream? I looked around me while one of my hands rubbed on my face. “Good—”And just about that time, I recalled what I had come here to do. “Good morning, Prince Aegon,” smiling, I let out as I got off the bed while dragging the duvet with me. “Did you have a good night's rest?” As I reminisced on what happened a night ago, the smile on my face did not disappear and in moments, I caught up with the large couch, falling on it the next moment. “Keep your greetings to yourself,” his voice was shaky. “What have you done, Eleanor?” Raising the sheets to look at himse

KNOXJust this morning, I got the news of war myself and the rest of my men would need to go on before coming back to live our lives, and ever since then, I had done nothing but lay in my bed with my eyes that looked up at the ceiling. There was nothing new in going to war and I looked forward to what this one would bring. More meat, more money, or gold? At the thought of it, a smile appeared on my countenance but even at that—I was more worried about something I could not bring my hands to lay on. The man who had delivered the news of the war to me was one who watched over the door ever then and now. Brian. Of all the guards in the Pack, he was the best. The others did a good job but not as Brian who would stay awake for a whole day to watch over me—unlike the others. I sat up when I thought about something, changing my mind the next moment and leading my way to the bathroom where a bath would be taken. Last I checked, I needed more strength in advance for this war. This did no

SAGEJust as it was said, the men were going to war. I stood by the window this morning, watching men of the pack—gathered by the field area while the Alpha, who I wondered whether or not he was going to go with them, said words I did not correctly hear. Perhaps, it was because I was far away from the gathering. But now that I thought about it, I knew for a fact that I didn't want to hear whatever it was. What else could it be if not a way to kill the men of whichever pack it was they were going to? And now that I thought about it, I hoped in my mind that it wasn't a pack I knew. Which pack did I know in the first instance? Once more, I snapped out of my thoughts. Noises were made and bags were hung on the shoulders of a few men. The head of the maids who I recognized, walked out of the kitchen with a large cooler of food. What else could it be if not for food? Alpha Knox smiled at her. She bowed to the man and waved at the others before walking away. This was quite early in t

SAGE Waking up to loud noises, I held my chest. What was that? Instantly, I sat up and looked around the room before tapping Aegon. “Aegon. What's going on?” I tapped him again and he shifted on the bed. “Wake up!” Louder, I shouted. He opened his eyes, looking around the room. “What's that about?” Sitting up, he asked because the noises were too much, and even now, he was standing on his feet, hurrying to a corner of the room where a bag hung. Taking out a gun from it, I didn't know how to react but I didn't care or mind because I wanted not just me, but the whole of the pack to be very safe. “It's nothing—” he had reached the window to take a peep, heaving a sigh as his shoulder dropped. “The Alpha and the rest of the men are back—” Heading back to the corner of the room where the bag where the gun was taken was hung, the man put the tool back in it before reaching the window again. He looked at me, however. “Are you okay?” “Yes, thank you.” Jumping on my feet as well, I jo

SAGEFreezing at that instant, I wondered what had happened. I knew inside of me that I felt someone bite me from behind. Not only that, but someone was standing behind me right there—leaving me with no choice but to turn around—only to meet the gaze of the Alpha. No way. Was I—dreaming? “My Lord—” I mouthed, one of my hands reaching for my behind so that I could touch my neck. “Did you—?” The words failed me, while I fixed my gaze on my hand and touched that part of my skin once again. “What did you do?” Maybe this was an accusation. Maybe I was being unfair to the Alpha, it dawned on me and I bowed in respect, looking around as I searched for Aegon. “Where is my husband, Alpha Knox?” And why was he not saying a word? Why couldn't he speak? I looked the man in the face and looked around once again. “Where is the Prince of this pack, Alpha Knox?” I looked him in the face once again, not wanting to believe what my instincts were saying to me. “It was not you, or was it?” Bl

It looked like he was trying to give me time to take in the news. But at the same time, I didn't know if I wanted to take in the news. I wanted him to tell me that it was a joke—but the look on his countenance said something else entirely—leaving me with no other options. No. There had to be options. There just had to be many options. “Talk to me!” I shouted. “Talk to me and do it now. Are you kidding me, Alpha Knox? What is this piece of information supposed to be? As a matter of fact, the full moon event was supposed to be special for me because it was a celebration of victory. But, look at me. How was this going to look in the end? Yet, another sigh ran out of my mouth and I got on my feet, looking around to be certain there was no one around. That wasn't enough, especially when I looked around with the sight of a normal human. Without hesitation and wasting time, I made use of one of the many powers I've got as a special—cursed werewolf. Checking around, I manipulated my way into going back in time to see who had been here with us since the moment I marked Sage as my mate and there was nothing like that. This alone was more than enough relief. With a sigh that ran out of my mouth, I looked around once again. The wolves were making loud noises, as usual, and I knew it in my hear

This morning, I opened my eyes on the bed. Once again, I was back to The Moonclaw Pack. Life continues, obviously, so I jumped on my feet. What was going to happen on this day? What else if not me sitting back on the couch or laying on the bed where I would relax? The maids would do any and everything I asked for—why would I forget I was the Princess of this pack? Falling back on the bed, I asked myself this same question. After a short while, I was on my feet. The box I used in going on my trip to the hotel hadn't been arranged yet and I wasn't going to do it. Without thinking twice or hesitating, I snapped my fingers, waiting for the door to open and the man at the entrance to walk in.
