I was thrown back into the cold and dark cell where I had been left for close to two days. The coldness of the bare floor helped a lot to cool my burning wounds and I was able to sleep well on the floor because my hands were not tied this time around.

Everything I had passed through played in my head. From the moment I was laughing in Draco’s arms on the field to the place he commanded me to be thrown back in the cell. I couldn’t stop wondering where the trust he said he had in me was, the love he had always confessed he had for me and those assuring words he had always told me.

“Everything was a lie, a blatant lie” I kept repeating to myself over and over, and I lied down crying silently.

The more I thought about them, the more my tears flowed. When I remembered how I lied on myself and my poor parents, I bawled my eyes out till the point I had no more tears to shed anymore.
