I waited for so long in the cell and it felt as if no one would come. Hunger almost gouged out my eyes, but I was suppressing it with the thought that I shouldn’t be hungry in this kind of absurd situation. “I wonder if I have been forgotten here. I was thrown back into the cold and dark cell where I had been left for close to two days. The coldness of the bare floor helped a lot to cool my burning wounds and I was able to sleep well on the floor because my hands were not tied this time around.
