41. DRAGONS IN THE SKY

My arms wrapped around my torso, standing and feeling as if I would be blown away by the cold wind.

Many of our warriors were leaving to different villages, to add protection. They left with these large arrows to shoot at large dragons in the sky.

It had been nothing but chaos in the castle all day and night long, just preparing as every vampire was filled with nothing but fear.

I did not care for dragons burning all the villages down. All I cared about was the fact that my soul mate, my king would be at the forefront of it all.

My heart was heavy, feeling so cold all of a sudden.

My body shook. My arms held it from just splattering apart.

I could hear other vampires cry all around, hugging their soul mates and saying goodbye, kissing their families.

The vampires were such hypocrites. They had no problem running to war and killing werewolves but now that they were on the receiving side, we had to all cry for them.
