40. WAR BEGINS PART II

Imagine the guilt I would feel if he was truly not a traitor but there was no chance, he smelt of backstabbing and betrayal.

Vlad never disappointed, the daggers he was throwing with his eyes just nailing me over and over as I smirked because he was not going to win, there was no way he was winning.

“ Is that all?” The king asked with me nodding my head, still staring at Vlad.

“ Vlad, go get the men ready.” Dante said, Vlad holding my stare for a second longer before turning around to walk away with no other word spoken from him.

I watched the door close, wanting to just jump and punch the air. This was too much fun but Dante was soon obstructing my view.

He squatted down before me, pulling my gaze from the door to him.

“ Did it hurt?” He suddenly asked with me frowning, not knowing what he was talking about but his hands were on my lips soon, having me realize.

“ Yes, but not that much.” I spoke out with him pulling my lips open so I opened my mouth for him.
