CHAPTER FOUR

I stood quietly behind Alpha Ryker as he scanned the Forest. He was a very strong alpha and if his instincts told him something was coming, then something was coming. I held my breath while my heart pounded. Suddenly, a group of shifters emerged from the shadows making me scream. Their eyes gleamed with a feral light, and their snarls sent a chill down my spine as I tried to press myself closer to Ryker. Ryker squeezed my hand as if to assure me, his eyes flashing with anger. "Stay back," he growled at me, his body tensing for battle. The shifters were about ten, all tensed for battlefield as they circled us, then suddenly they charged at us, their claws swiping through the air. Ryker met them head-on, his fists flying as he shifted midair and took down one shifter after another with his sharp claws and fangs. I watched in awe, my heart pounding with excitement and amazement at the raw sight of him defeating the wolves. Just when it seemed like Ryker had defeated the last of the rogues, a massive grizzy bear emerged from the trees, I tried to stop my scream this time by I couldn't help it. The bear's feral eyes were locked onto me locking me in one place as I held it gaze. Ryker's eyes locked onto the bear, his body coiling for the final battle. With a fierce roar, Ryker launched himself at the bear. The two combatants clashed, their bodies rolling across the forest floor. My heart was in her throat as I watched, my senses on high alert while I prayed fervently that get comes out unscathed. He held the bear in a headlock with his large fangs and I suddenly heard his voice as he addressed the bear.

"Who sent you?"

The bear didn't answer and only guffawed before he spoke, "My boss sends a message. He says he will be pleased to finally play with your new toy"

My stomach dropped, his new toy, it had to be me right? Who else could he be talking about? Enranged, with a mangled roar, he tore off the bear's neck and emerged victorious, the bear lying motionless at his feet. Ryker stood panting, his chest heaving with exertion. I felt a surge of admiration for him as I quickly ran to him. His black fur was scattered and matted with blood but he was alright. I decided not to care about what the bear has said.

"Alpha Ryker...are you alright?" I asked softly.

He immediately shifted back into a human and I yelled as I quickly averted my eyes from viewing his naked body, my face red from embarrassment. The next,t thing i knew I was being carried again in strong arms, his naked muscular chest right in front of me.

"Eeek! What..what are you doing?" I spluttered in panic.

"I'm taking you home" he growled, "...and its Ryker" He griwledonce more in my ears.

I closed my eyes and shut my mouth as well moved on because I was scared of what I might see and say. Finally we saw an open space in the middle of large, tall hedges and passed through them. My mouth opened in fascination as I stared at the place, no one was out because it was already late but the place was filled with tall, beautiful buildings, large gardens and the air smelt nice. We entered a house much bigger and beautiful that others, you could say it was a mansion. Then get maneuvered through doors and finally opened a room. It was a large master bedroom with a king sized bed and push looking blanket. Suddenly, before I knew it I was thrown on the bed, my body bounced up and down as I tried to steady myself.

"What are you doing" I asked him, my voice shook as I stared up at him. I gasped as I saw his eyes dazed and filled with...lust? For me? I slowly glance down and as what I've read about men in heat, his member was standing erect...and it was huge. Was that going to go in me. No. No way. I quickly scrambled to the end if the bed and crossed my chest with my hands.

"No, please...stay away. Don't touch me"

But he kept on coming, his eyes never leaving mine. I watched in horror as he crawled closer to me, it was as if he was not here, his primal instinct was fully focused on mating with me. I whimpered as he placed both his strong arms at the side of me, locking me in between his chest. I could see his muscles move and shift as he put his face closer to mine and nuzzled my neck. Electricity shot up my body immediately his lips touched my neck making me arch my back whimpering even more. His lips stayed there for a while then he moved to my ears and to my forehead then slowly down my face to rest at my lips. My hands were squeezing the bedsheets tightly as I tried to fight the desire building in my core, something I have never felt or imagined I would feel, even while I was with Aidan. He took my lips furiously like an animal starved for food and water, I couldn't help the moan that came out from my mouth, I squeezed my legs tight together to control my urge,the kiss was unlike what I had thought it would be, his lips were soft but his hold on my lips were strong. He used his tongue to pry open my mouth and suck my tongue. This was my first kiss but it was too much for me. It was hard but I finally tore my lips away from him and tried to push him away.

"Please..please...I'm not yet ready." I please with him earnestly but I think he was too far gone, he grasped my hands and pushed me flat on the bed, while his other hand ran up and down my body. Just as I thought I should give up and just let him take me, a loud pounding was heard at the door.

"Alpha, you can't mate with her now, at least not yet." It was the frantic voice of a woman. I breathe a sigh of relief, my chest was beating fast, happy that someone was here to stop him but he kept on running his hand on my body, dangerously reaching my breast, someone has to stop him now or I won't be able to hold my self anymore.

"Aloha! Stop" he continued, then. "Kai! You know that if he was conscious he would have listened to me, now Kai, listen to me and let the girl go. She is your mate but you can't mate her now" the voice sounded firm but I could catch some trace of fear there. Ryker stopped and stared at me for a while, his eyes, i noticed were black, so his wolf was tge one who had taken over. Ryker's expression suddenly softened, his eyes never leaving my face. "Fine," he growled, his voice low. "But I'll mark her, to protect her from those who would harm her." I saw his eyes shift to my shoulder, he lowered his head and then I screamed.
