(Few weeks ago)

I stormed out of the council room, slamming the heavy oak door behind me. The muffled echoes of the council elders’ voices continued inside, still debating, still trying to dictate my life. My jaw clenched in frustration as their words played in my mind.

“Brianne is too weak. She will never be able to lead alongside you. She isn’t worthy of the title of Luna.”
