*JORDYN’S POV*

I sat in my office chair, feeling dazed and bewildered. My mind was spinning from the revelation that I finally found my mate. It was a feeling that I never thought I’d experience, and yet, here I was, enjoying the warmth of this newfound connection.

My mind drifted back to the day at my hideout, the first day she kissed me. I remembered it like it was yesterday. She had been trying to calm me down, but I hadn’t expected her to use a kiss to do so. But it worked like a charm. I felt my tension melt away.
