*BRIANNE’S POV*

We all stood in lines, waiting for the announcement to be made.

The training instructor had said there was going to be an announcement, but we’d been waiting for almost an hour and nobody was making the announcement. The sun was beating down on us, making the wait even more unbearable. I could feel the sweat trickling down my back, and my legs were starting to ache from standing for too long.

To make matters worse, the instructor was pacing back and forth, muttering to himself, and glancing at her watch every few seconds. It was like she was waiting for something or someone, and it was making me nervous.

I looked around at the others, trying to gauge their reactions. Some were chatting quietly, while others were checking their phones or gazing off into space. But we all shared one thing in common: we were all getting restless.
