*BRIANNE’S POV*

As we broke apart for a moment, gasping for air, he whispered, “Mine, you’re mine Brianne,” His voice was mild but hoarse.

As I gazed at him, my vision blurred with tears I didn’t even know I was shedding.

“What’s wrong? Did I hurt you?” Jordyn’s brows furrowed, the concern evident in his voice.

I shook my head, trying to speak, but my voice cracked. “W-what would people say?” I stammered, my fear of other’s judgment and rejection overwhelming me.

Jordyn’s expression darkened, his eye flashing with an unrelenting force. “I don’t care what people think!” He growled. “You’re my mate, Brianne. That’s all that matters.”

But I couldn’t shake off the doubt and fear.

“B-But Jordyn…I’m an omega, and you’re the Alpha,” I sobbed, feeling like I was unworthy of him.

His face twisted in frustration. “Does that make you any less of a wolf? Any less deserving of love and respect?” He demanded, his voice rising.
