"Sinbad! You need to change back into Kanyon right now!" Cameron ordered, but the beast just snuggled closer to Jessica, who was snoring. Her body was completely drained, and she had no clue why she kept sleeping so much. 'I don't take orders from you,' Sinbad snarled. 'Now leave before I maul you.'"I can't leave until I fix the doors. You caused a number of damages with the little stunt you pulled downstairs,” Cameron yelled. 'Keep your damn voice down before you wake my wife.' Cameron huffed, but decided to continue speaking through their link. “Can I just send someone to repair the doors?”'Sure. But tell them they have to be quiet, because If they wake Jessica, they will die.'Cameron observed the enormous beast. He'd never seen him behave this protective before, and the last time he went this wild was when Ellie passed away. ‘Before I leave, do you mind if I have a word with Kanyon first?’'No,’ Sinbad said dryly. 'No? What do you mean no?' Cameron scoffed. 'You don't know
Kanyon was humming with joy as he strolled to Anna's room. Jessica's skills as a lover were becoming more and more outstanding. Even though they only did it once, it was enough to keep him through the rest of the week. He adjusted his shirt collar before knocking on Anna's door. He glanced at his watch. He was around two minutes behind schedule. "You're late!" the angry she-wolf slammed the door shut as she joined him in the hallway. "You said 10 am sharp.""Stop being so dramatic. I'm just a couple of minutes late, and it's not like anyone died,” he grunted. "Well a lot could have happened in two minutes." "Nothing happened. Now quit your whining and let's go." "I've been ready and waiting for an hour, since you normally show up earlier than usual." Anna continued her babbling as Kanyon took her arm and guided her to the car. "I hope the skies won't turn red today since you're on time for once in your life," Kanyon rolled his eyes. Anna snarled as her eyes glazed yellow. "Let me
"I'm so sorry I'm late, my love. Anna was being difficult, and I had to ensure she ate, and then I stayed until she fell asleep.” Kanyon was talking so fast his words seemed jumbled. "Shh," Jessica took his face in her palms and lowered it to hers. The instant her lips brushed against his, he felt all his worries fade away. “The only thing that matters is that you are here now. I’m just going to grab my phone and then we can leave.""Alright. The car is waiting outside."Kanyon was nervous this time around as he sat in the vehicle with Jessica's head on his shoulder. She could feel the tremor running through his veins."Why are you shaking so much?" Jessica asked him. "I don't know. My mind is going to worse-case scenarios," he sighed. "Like what if your body is growing weak because it misses Cordelia or what if my baby-mama-drama has been putting a strain on your well-being?”"I know what you're doing. You think it's your fault that I've been feeling sick lately, but I assure you,
King Kanyon was blinking rapidly, trying to clear the fog of disbelief that clouded his vision. Maybe he didn't hear the doctor right. His eyebrows shot up, forming a high arch of astonishment. "Dr. Clarke, I need you to repeat that." Kanyon's words were low but effective. "Did you just say Jessica is pregnant?" "There's no doubt in my mind, King Kanyon. Your mate is indeed pregnant." Dr. Clarke was sure. "It showed up in her urinalysis, plus the lines on the pregnancy test were strong positives too, meaning that the pregnancy hormone, HCG, is high in her system." Jessica's jaw dropped, eyes widening in disbelief as if a sudden jolt of electricity had coursed through her veins, leaving her momentarily stunned. She swallowed, trying to soothe her dry throat. Pregnant? She couldn't believe it. She clutched her chest, feeling her heart race. Each beat a thunderous echo. "I am pregnant?" She whispered. Her mind was prepared to hear the doctor say he had made a mistake. But his word
Jessica sat on the carpet while she watched Kanyon unpack the final items of clothing he brought from her old bedroom. She felt a bit strange watching him organize and fold her delicates. Her tummy was doing all types of flips. Something about a man folding a woman’s laundry made Jessica horny. "Kanyon, I could have done all of this myself. You didn't have to take the morning off.""I know, but I wanted to," he let out as he stuffed a lingerie made up of only strings in the top drawer. Clearly he was enjoying his tasks this morning. "Ariel bought me those," Jessica tried to explain herself to him. Even though they had been intimate numerous times now she had never wore any of the sexy outfits for him as yet. "Then remind me to give Ariel my thanks next time I see her," Kanyon smirked while he admired a crotchless red one piece that seemed to have him drooling. He couldn’t wait to see Jessica in this one. Jessica was totally embarrassed and it showed. It had been seven days since
"Why on earth did Constance fail to mention that Reniece and I were promised to each other when we met with her the other day?" Cameron was pissed. "Because she isn't trustworthy," Kanyon expressed. "I always thought she wanted to match you with her daughter because of April's feelings for you, but I now feel there's something deeper at play." Kanyon remembered how shock the priestess was when she found out his sister was alive and well. He had to get to the bottom of this somehow. "So Cameron and I were always meant to be?” Reniece let out. "And to think we are also mates. This has to be fate.""Our parents wanted to join our families together for a long time, if the Purebloods had a daughter, it would have been me who would have joined our houses, but Cameron is an only child, so when you were born, I guess our parents thought it should be you and Cameron to join our families," Kanyon explained. "If you weren't lost for so long, you two would have been joined on your eighteenth bi
"How much longer until we arrive at this kingdom?" Magda asked as the horses neighed from thirst and hunger. The Luna was sweating like a pig. She wasn't used to this heat. She was breathing hard as she used her folding fan to cool down her face and neck. "Luna, we would have been there by yesterday if the horses were better fed," the coachman answered. "How about we find a place to set up camp for the night? The horses need to food and rest, then we can hit the road again in the morning." The coachman swallowed hard, fearing the Luna would go off on him, but she only mumbled under her breath before she gave him her answer. "Fine. But I want my tent ready by the time I exit this blasted carriage," she ordered. "It's so fucking hot here. I feel like I'm stuck up satan's asshole," she complained. "Why the hell do people crave to live in the South? It's the ending of springtime, and it's already burning up here," she muttered under her breath."You got it, Luna," the coachman nodded as
Ariel relaxed next to the window, gazing at the clouds while their jet headed for the kingdom of Lycania. She felt the sun warming her cheeks while her thoughts drifted away. It was really stressing her out to be keeping such a huge secret from Jessica. She wasn't keen on hiding things from her cousin, but given how hard things had been for Jess, Ariel thought it was the right move. But now that she'd be seeing her soon, she would have no choice but to reveal this secret to her. Ariel bit down on her nails as she pictured all the awful ways this could turn out. With a sigh, the Luna continued to look out the window, cradling her growing belly while she prayed to the Moon Goddess that her surprise pregnancy wouldn't be too much of a trigger for Jessica. Daniel and DJ were sitting away from Ariel as they spoke about werewolf business. "I know you didn't want to come, son, so thank you," Daniel patted DJ's shoulder. With the feral vampires getting out of hand, Alpha Daniel didn't feel
'Kanyon. We have to get down there and help her!' Sinbad roared inside Kanyon's head. The smell that was radiating from Anna as she shifted reminded the onlookers of the gutters down in the sewers. Kanyon leaped off the balcony, using his castle flags to glide down to the ground. He made his way down seamlessly, while the crowd parted to give him access to Anna. No one dared to touch her as her flesh sizzled like smoke from burning fire. Nurse Brown was slumped over in one corner, unable to watch the she-wolf suffer. This was unnatural. Her skin seemed like it was doused in acid as it melted off her bones. "Annabella, what have you done?" Kanyon whispered. He refrained from touching her too. Anna knew it was forbidden to transform so soon after giving birth. Kanyon had witnessed she-Lycans dying because of doing just that. But this was different, something evil was in play here. "After everything I did," Anna screamed through her painful transition. "Aaaaahhhhh!" She wailed, twis
Hello, guys. Sorry for missing my updates yesterday and the day before, but I’ve been under the weather for almost a week now. I contracted the Influenza A virus. While the fever and headache is manageable, I can’t seem to keep anything inside my stomach. I’m throwing up and I have a severe case of diarrhea. Luckily I was only admitted to the hospital for a day while they tried to get my body back to a hydrated state. I am alone at home now since my husband is away for business. I’m waiting on my friend to stop by with some chicken soup. But If I feel better today, I will update a chapter or two. But my eyes literally hurt staring at my computer screen for too long so I might wait until the morning. But you don’t have to worry, I am going to finish the story with a bang. And please don’t hate me for what will be coming in the next few chapters. I have some sad news to reveal in the coming chapters. So hang tight. Thank you guys for your support. I hope you are staying safe out there
"Are you nervous, my love?" Kanyon asked as he watched Jessica fix her earring in her ear. "Are you kidding? I'm thrilled! I've never been this happy in my life," she beamed. “Hearing you say that puts a smile on my face. Are you sure there isn't anything else I can do to make this day even more special?""No there isn't. Everything is perfect." "Alright," Kanyon sighed. "I'm going to have to return what I got you then.”"You got me something?" "Of course, but I'm afraid the surprises were too big to wrap.""Surprises?" Jessica wondered where he had time to go shopping since the last three days had been super hectic for everyone. The triplets and Anna’s baby were a handful. "Mamaaaaaaa!" Ariel's voice rang out as she burst through the door. She dashed over to Jessica and wrapped her in a huge bear hug. "Look at you. Childbirth has been good to you. Look at those boobies.""Wh - what are you doing here? I just spoke to you, and you said you were at the Warmblood pack,” Jessica let
The next day, people travelled in scores from near and far to gather in the castle's courtyard to get a glimpse of their future king. News of the birth of the heir spread like Hollywood gossip throughout the kingdom.Jessica was feeling much better. She was on the phone with Ariel, who had also given birth to a son a week earlier. "It's chaos over here, cous," Jessica sighed. "There are hundreds of people out in the courtyard waiting to see KJ.""I can only imagine. So where's Kanyon?" Ariel asked. "He's having a meeting with the council members right now to tell them I am the one who produced the heir and not that bitch, Annabella," Jessica hissed. "What did that bitch say when she found out her son is not the heir?""She doesn't know as yet. She's been sleeping since she gave birth yesterday," Jessica said. "I'm just glad my son is the heir and not hers, but I still won't interfere with how Kanyon chooses to take care of him. That baby is as much his as my children are.""True,"
After the storm, the morning unfolded with a sense of calm and peace. King Kanyon held his wife firmly in his arms as he carried her back to the castle while Lucy cradled the young prince in her arms and Master Cameron wrapped his arms around the cooing princesses. "I'm so tired!" Jessica muttered against Kanyon's neck. "I know, my love. We are almost home. I'll take you to the hospital so you and our children can get checked out, and then I'll take you back to the room," Kanyon responded. "But - but the nursery only has two cribs and two of everything else," Jessica complained. "I need to get some stuff for our son.""Shh. No need to stress, I'll arrange for one of everything to be at the nursery before the day ends. Just concentrate on getting your rest." Kanyon kissed her head. The guards at the East gates were on standby for them. The king used his mindlink to clue them in on which gates he'd be arriving at. As soon as they arrived, the guards bowed before letting them in. Th
Kanyan took his shirt off to wrap his daughter in and then carefully laid the baby down. Jessica was still in agony as Lucy screamed at her, telling her to push. "I can't do this," Jessica sobbed. "I'm too tired." Her head felt light, and her muscles seemed like they were on fire. "Sure you can." Kanyon held her hand. "You're one of the strongest women I've ever met. Now push so we can meet our other baby.""OK. OK," she sniffled. Lucy was in position. "Come on, Jessica. You can do this."Jessica set aside the pain and concentrated on the adorable sounds coming from her daughter, and soon she found the energy she needed to keep going. She screamed loudly, teeth clenched tight while her body did its thing. "That's it. You're doing great, mama," Lucy commented. "I see a head. Keep pushing!""Only a few more minutes, Jess, and then this will all be over," Kanyon chimed in. Lucy's eyes widened as the second baby slid into her hands. This one cries were also powerful. Kanyon took th
It was already 7 pm and Kanyon was exhausted. After receiving pain medication from the doctor, Anna finally drifted off to sleep. Dr. Clarke informed the king that Anna might deliver as soon as 8 am the following morning. Kanyon sensed something strange, almost like Jessica was out of reach. So he tried to reach out to her via mindlink, but the connection was blank. 'That's strange,' Sinbad stated. 'No. It's not strange if she is too far away to connect to our link.'Kanyon bumped into Cameron on his way back to his room. "Hey man. Has she had the baby yet?" Cam asked. "No. Maybe early tomorrow morning or late tomorrow evening. Have you seen Jessica?" Kanyon asked. "No. Not since she got back from the market this morning," he answered. "Why?""She's not responding to my mindlink." "Damn!" Cam muttered. Both men quickly made their way to the king's quarters. "Jessica?" Kanyon called out as he checked the bedroom and master bathroom. "Twinkle? Are you in here, girl?" Cam check
Annabella squirmed in agony while the medical team rolled her on the stretcher to the royal delivery room. "You fucking cunts!" Anna screamed. "I need something for the pain!" she gritted her teeth as she grabbed the arm of the paramedic. She squeezed it so hard her nails dug into his flesh. "We can't give you anything yet, Anna. Not until your blood test comes back, and we know what has sent you into early labour," Nurse Cakes explained. "Fuck you, bitch!" Anna gathered some saliva in her mouth and hurled it at Nurse Cake's face. Another contraction hit her. "Ahhhhhh! WOOOOOH!" she howled in pain. "Quick. Get her on the bed," Dr. Clarke ordered as they made it to the royal birthing room. "Now Anna, you're gonna stay still while Nurse Cake's take a sample of your blood, then I want you to open your legs for me so I can take a peek at what's happening.""You don't need a PhD to know what's happening doctor," she shouted. "Can't you see I'm in labour?" "Take a deep breath," Nurse C
"Slow down, ma'am. The doctor said you should take time to chew your food." Nurse Cakes snapped as she fed Anna her breakfast. "You know I'm a doctor too. I know stuff," Anna burped and then licked the gravy off her fingers. "I can't walk or leave this room. Hell, I can't even wash my own ass and pussy, so if eating like a pig helps with this fucking depression, then you better feed me, bitch!" Anna yelled. "Now I need more potatoes and gravy. And please be more generous with the fried chicken."The nurse exhaled heavily. "Yes ma'am. I'll send word to the kitchen now." Nurse Cakes got up and made her way over to the other nurse, who was standing by the window. "What's Cruella's problem now?" Nurse Lennox asked. "She wants more food," Nurse cakes rolled her eyes. "But hasn't she had enough already?""I told her, but she doesn't seem to care." "She's so irritating. I'm so glad she's not our queen," Nurse Brown confessed. "That would have been a fucking nightmare.""You're totally r
