Chapter 31

Deandra pov

Returning back home tired, I dumped my bag on the chair and fell tiredly on the couch. The meeting was worse than I imagined it to be, the people at the board meeting were unfamiliar faces. Good thing Ryder helped me with the reviews before the meeting. I would have been kicked out of the board meeting.

I looked around the sitting room and realized there was nothing for me to eat. I'm alone in the house. I had to make myself something quick to eat and seeing how untidy the house looked made me tired before doing anything.

“Where do I start from?” I asked myself after looking around for a while.

I finally stood up from the couch and walked into the kitchen, most of my plates were dirty. I had just two clean plates. Good thing it's the weekend tomorrow I will try to do a proper clean up tomorrow.

Lazily I made something to eat and sat on the dining table. While eating I opened my phone and went through it. The group chat for the company staff was buzzing really hard
