Deandra pov

Aliya and I headed to the car, I thought she would decide to go on her own but instead she was the first person to get into the car.

Ryder was confused, he gave me a signal with his eyes, trying to ask me why Aliya is going with us.

We both entered the car and Ryder drove out of the environment. While he was driving us back to our houses, I turned back to look at Aliya who seemed very serious with her phone.

“Are you two a couple?” Aliya suddenly asked. I was shocked to hear the question she asked because how have we behaved to make her ask such a question.

“Of course not Aliya.” I replied to her almost immediately. I was wondering why Ryder was quiet. He is usually the first to counter such a question but today all of a sudden he's quiet.
